My favorite in the series is still World at War. Loved the maps and the weapons.

Agreed. Kill Streaks and all that AI controlled garbage ruined the series for me.

All 16 original maps will be in the game. Other 6 will be in a free DLC in December. Such good news.

I thought it was 10 and then 6 more free in December.

I love how they re did the audio when you rank up in multiplayer. It's the Cod 4 theme song now.

IGN had a multiplayer gameplay trailer for COD 4 but then they took it down.

I actually feel like the maps on MW were bigger than the maps we've seen in recent CoDs.

I keep watching MW videos on YouTube and realizing how small the maps were.

That alone has me on the fence. I was hyped before..now not so much.

I feel like if they retained the balance that the OG had then it shouldn't be a problem. The maps were just big enough to accommodate the small number of players, but also kept you close to the action to keep the games interesting and tense. I hate spending 60 seconds sprinting to where the action is on some of the new MP maps in games today.

Totally agree with this. COD 4 was an console/FPS masterpiece, and it explains why so many people are excited about this remaster.

I'm just worried they'll 'muck with it' somehow. I saw the trailer they released and it seemed a bit... different - i'm not sure how though. If they sped it up or changed the way the weapons behave or really anything at all besides the resolution it could be a real turd.

They changed the weapon sounds and some display stuff. I must say though, ever since COD 4 ended, i prayed one day it'd come back, and my god i have never been so excited in my life.

People think that it'll be released by itself later on, but i doubt it, i'd gladly pay 500 dollars for COD4 if it was the only COD that was popular for ever, god I AM SO HYPED!
