No it still requires Infinite Warfare. For whatever reason the servers were live for a brief time today. I managed to get two games in before it went offline.

The Modern Warfare Remaster going live I believe was a Halloween treat from the Devs. They posted on Facebook. I played for a few hours, game is great.I'forgot how lethal those air strikes are, had a blast. It's what Call of Duty should be. I'm taking Friday off playing all day.

PS: My Infinite Warfare started downloading this morning. looking forward to the campaign , won't be playing online at all, what i saw from the beta was horrible. Unless they add a mode that turns jumping and wall running off I'll stick with the remaster online.

For people that bought the game on the PS4 you get to play the Remaster campaign 30 days early. Yesterday they set the multiplayer live as a Halloween treat just for one day/night according to a post I saw on FB.

Only a few hours. Like I mentioned earlier in the thread, I got on and completed two games. I then went and had dinner and came back to find the multiplayer offline.

Anyone know if there are any prestige awards? If I remember the original didn't have any, not even extra class slots iirc. Also, are grenades basically pocket nukes? Like they were in the original?

Every prestige unlocks a new create a class slot and I believe an emblem and playing card. 20 prestige levels total.

As for the grenades, yes they're still the same. The game balance wise hasn't changed. Everything is as it was in the original game, as it should be.

How do the online maps look? Do the graphics and maps look a lot better? Do the map environments have more details in them? I'm pumped to play Domination on Crash (My favorite map of all-time) and Bog.
