Not really a spoiler but i'll hide it just in case. If you are getting disoriented in Niflheim, this makes it much easier to navigate. It's just a way to think about approaching traveling there.
Ivaldi’s Workshop
Spoiler
it's shaped just like a baseball field with only left and right field. More information here but might be more information than some of you want. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.pol...-anchor-of-fogComment

I don't think one thing is necessarily better than another just upgrade what you like

Re: God of War 4
Here is a tip, don't sell your haze weave for mist echoes to open tears until you've spent them upgrading armor. You can stay in Ivaldi's Workshop much longer with improved gear.
I can clear the whole thing out in one run. (Most of the time, sometimes i die and lose all my echos) This is most I've been able to get in one run. Every chest opened, 9605 mist echoes.
Hidden imagine shows late in the game armor and weapons

Re: God of War 4
Solid game but I wish that camera wasn't so darn close during combat.. Has me feeling claustrophobic. The frantic pace of the enemies combined with Kratos' somewhat cumbersome control scheme is really what makes the game so difficult imo. That small PS4 controller is giving me cramps in my hands with all the dodging and rolling I'm doing.lolEA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment

Re: God of War 4
I'm good on the controls. They feel loose to me. What I don't like is the block button. I'm always pressing R2 or, is it R1? See, I still don't know as I type this.
Every night I fire up the game, the first thing I do is press both buttons so I remember which is block and which gets me those special combat moves.
It's infuriating during a big battle because I'm bound to get hit a couple times crossing myself up. It's really a me thing but it just feels like the buttons are in the wrong spots and should be flipped.

Re: God of War 4
I know this is going to be uncommon/unpopular post, but I played GoW for about 3 hours on launch day and I haven't played it since. I enjoyed what I played, especially when I started, but I quickly became "bored" with the game after that.
When I'm looking to play something outside of MLB The Show '18, I'm finding myself playing other games instead of GoW.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Who cares what others think. Just do you. I didn’t care for Horizon Zero Dawn. I wanted to like that game but didnt. This game is much more to my liking. I didn’t care for Witcher 3 either. I don’t like threads that are just love fests. Critical responses are always welcome in my book. There has never been a game where every single person has always loved it so I expect to see negative/critical posts.
This is a linear story based game. My brother prefers more open, sandbox games. This is not that type of game. It’s not a shooter either. It’s a strategic, sword type of combat with some decent RPG elements. Right in my wheelhouse. I think anyone that liked playing a two handed warrior in DAI would love this game.Last edited by rudyjuly2; 05-09-2018, 07:30 PM.Comment
