I'm still really enjoying game, I still haven't beat the last valkyrie.

My only real gripe is that kratos is by far one of the weakest characters in the game. There might only be three types of enemies that are weaker than him.

Some of those Valkyrie's are really tough. The one in Muspelheim took me like 25 tries to beat.


Finished the main story today. Just trying to clear the board now and handle some of these side quests/favors. So much fun going through this game.

I haven't beat the last one yet, lol. I haven't tried in a while though, I just been exploring and improving my gear.

The perfect Asgard steel is a finite resource, so spend it carefully! (I think you get enough for everything it you beat last valkyrie)

I upgrade my armour. Most of my gear and stuff is pretty decent (4+ to 6) but my enchantments are level 2 max. I have yet to beat a Valkyrie and I’m not sure I’ve seen one.

They are crazy easy compared to the last one!!

Not saying they are easy at all, but relative to the last one they are child's play.

Have beaten them all. The final one is a nightmare and haunted me for damn near 3 days.

Better make sure you are geared up for that.

I have the maxed out Niflheim Deadly Mist armor and I'm assuming you meant Runic attacks.

For the Axe I use:
Charge of the White Bear
Ivaldi's Anvil

Blades I use:
Spartan Charge
Fire Of Areas

I like the high damage quick cooldown attacks. Allows me to essentially spam the runic attacks every 10-15 seconds and interrupt (for the most part) whatever move the Valkyrie is trying to do.

Yeah that's what I look for too. In those 10-15 seconds while the runics are charging I spam the hell outta Areus' arrows and runic charge. I also use the L1+O (can't remember what it's called) but it basically freezes time. Add in the Resurrection stone that fills spartan rage and I'm basically bringing all of my attacks to the fight.

The game does make you think about what Runics to utilize.
