I'm completely torn on these portions of the game. Narrative wise it was nice to have additional perspective of the story through Miles and MJ despite neither of them getting much development over the course of the game. The gameplay itself during these portions, however, basically resulted in walking straight or rushing quickly through "stealth" portions leaving these perspective changing sections a little redundant and anti-climatic.

No to more stealth.

Sorry I'm sick and tired of every game being stealth now. I don't want to sit and wait for minutes trying to figure out the enemy routes.

Give me Splinter Cell and I'm cool with it. Makes sense. Spider-Man, it was done right. We don't need to put him in more vents.

It could've been done better but the stealth stuff is there to break up the constant action/fighting, etc...

Yeah what was there was cool. I just don't want it to be us crawling around and hiding underneath bushes for an hour just to complete a mission.

Only about 33 minutes into this video but I think this is a good video review he makes a lot of good points both good and bad about things lacking and or things that could be better. Only thing I have disagree with him on is music not being that good.

I have no problem with stealth in Spider Man as long as it's optional like it was when playing as Spider Man. The forced stealth garbage with the other characters needs to go though.

An awesome "easter egg" would've been able to swing with the old spider man theme when using the comic book suit.

About halfway done with this game as I'm forcing myself to finish other games before I start a new one. What a great game! Easily the best Spider-Man game to date (though I disagree with others that say it's the best Super Hero game... Batman game's still hold that mantle for me).



Not sure if this is really a spoiler, but just in case...

Think there's a good chance in Spider-man 2 (if they make it), they are going to show either the death of Peter Parker so Miles Morales becomes Spider-man or we'll see quite a few unique Spider-Men (versus simply costumes).

Yeah there were only 1 or 2 instances where it actually made sense for MJ/Miles to be in those situations. The other times were completely forced and dumb. Sneaking into a Sable outpost without a weapon? That's insane lol.

I hated all four of them or however many there were because they were all "flashbacks" so you already knew the outcome. Add in that they're forced stealth and the AI on hard was so damn blind and stupid, while playing those missions, I kept saying, what the hell was Insomniac thinking? I'm a fan of The Order but forced stealth in that game should be a reminder for every developer and publisher on how not to do it, like at all. Thankfully, that was my only major negative in the game. Everything else was great. Hopefully, they don't bring those stealth sections back for the sequel.

Finished up the main campaign today and to me this game definitely lived up and surpassed all expectations for me. Easily a GOTY contender. I’m at 85% right now and will try to complete the rest of the missions and tasks to get closer to 100%. Should give me something to do while I wait for Red Dead Redemption 2 to drop. Had a fun ride with Spider-Man
