Re: Bioshock: The Collection
I haven't finished 2, but I love the first one and Infinite equally. I'm also a person who loves Mass Effect 3 and think the ending is pretty good.
Actually, I played all of these games years after they came out, so that probably helped.Comment

I also don't think 2 deserves the hate that it gets. I beat it and the DLC and loved it as well

Re: Bioshock: The Collection
Infinite was my first Bioshock. I hear a lot of fans don't like it as much, but it was sealed for me when you take the elevator up.
"ASCENSION, ASCENSION, ASCENSION... HALLELUJAH"
That moment ranks in my mind as one of my favorites ever as a gamer. Most Bioshock fans seem to have gotten this already with Rapture in the intro to 1 so it probably didn't hit them as hard, but it blew me away. It was also the first game I played on PC after building my rig so it was at the time the best thing I'd ever seen graphically.
Infinite was quite possibly the most immersive gaming experience I've ever had. Something about it just locked me in right from the start and I was riveted by every single twist and turn. It's one of those situations where it's actually kind of upsetting that you can't re-play the storyline and experience the same feelings as the first time through.Comment

Same here. Games like this would typically be out of my range but I gave this one a shot on a whim. I knew virtually nothing about the series beforehand so everything pretty much blew me away, right from the start.

I will definitely be picking this up. Infinite was definitely one of my favorite plots of all time. Looking forward to this!A Rising Storm in the North | Cheese's Eastern Michigan Dynasty (NCAA '12)

Played about two hours into the first game. So far it's great. It looks good and runs smooth as butter, which is all I could have asked for.Comment

Re: Bioshock: The Collection
Bioshock 1 is still an excellent game but what's up with the audio issues? Countless times it sounds like things, like enemies or cameras, are way closer to you than they actually are. I've noticed constantly that you'll be in a room and it sounds like a splicer is right next to you, rambling like they do, or at least right outside the door, but they are usually way down a hall or even on a floor above you. It's pretty annoying since I'm playing on Hard and trying to take my time and keep thinking an enemy is right around the corner when they're not. It just seems to be a mixing issue or something. I don't remember having any issues on 360 or PS3.Comment

Re: Bioshock: The Collection
Reading the PC port of the remaster has many of the same glitches as the original. Unbelievable.
When I tried to play the original on Windows 8, there was no sound. If I start this game up and theres no sound or constant glitches man....well at least it was free I guess.
I must be destined to only ever play Infinite.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it
