The end of ea sports ,sub par games

In my opinion,ea is in trouble with there sports line ups,madden is the same,nhl hockey has sucked bad and now doesnt have create a player,and nba live is in the gutter also.Everyone should be thanking sega and espn for putting some pressure on this company to change the games for the better and start making games better not taking parts out that are no brainers to have in them.Tiger woods golf is the only game they have a clear winner with,but i wont up grade from my 2004 version,because there isnt enough but xbl support to shell out 60 buxs for.This will be the first time i have not bought a ea sports title since there hockey franchise started on the genesis.so to finish what i am saying ea is, dont take a vaction this year because you have been on one for at least 5 years,put some heart and listen to the players of your games what they want,because duh we BUY them.So go back to work and play some espn games and then start to be the best sports game maker in the world again.

As long as EA gets sales from the casual gamer they're still gonna be the champ in tersm of sales over all the competition. So this thread is pretty moot in my opinion. EA has already been eclipsed quality wise. It'll be interesting to see how ESPN sells compared to EA for the '06 games.

BTW not all EA sports is bad. I really enjoyed MVP baseball.

If you subtract the Gamecube EA Sports sales, how close is the margin between Sega & EA?

Well Just most people that are just play sports games sometimes are going to go with EA. I mean when you think of a football game first thing comes to mind is MADDEN! I mean most of the guys at my school just get NBA Live and Madden becuz it has been around and its jus proven before to be the best so they stick with it. But I think with how Sega and ESPN joined that if on Sportscenter they throw in some highlights of the games or something, Then sales will definately increase and maybe go over EA. 06 will be the year but ESPN better just there sports channels to there advantage or else majority of poeple will stick with madden. Thats how i feel on it. I still think NBA Live and March Madness are stepping it up this year and cant wait to play March Madness!
