For a quick fix you can rent a ps2 for about 15.00 for a week at BB. Then just play until your fingers can't take anymore.

Re: Hook a brotha up with some advice...
I wouldn't worry about. There's enough games for Xbox and Xbox Live to keep you occupied. When my green Halo Xbox went out a few weeks ago I thought about buying a PS2 (I sold my original with modem and all) and just have my Xbox repaired. I went to Best Buy with that intention, but then walked away with a new Xbox and a replacement contract ($20 for 2 years). I still have my damaged Halo Xbox and will eventually fix it and probably give it away.Comment

Re: Hook a brotha up with some advice...
Honestly, brother to brother, don't buy it. I am married with 2 kids. My wife used to hate my video game playing, now she buys me wireless controllers and etc. The reason for the switch is I have respected her wishes just like she respects mine in relation to how we spend our money. Put the shoe on the other foot, how would you feel if she went out and did something like buy a new car when y'all previously agreed to another way to do it? Your single homeboys will call you whipped and a punk, I call it being a good husband, good father, and able to stay married longer than the lifespan of any video game. Just my 2 centsThe Sports Preacher

TJdaSportsGuy,
I've been in your shoes. And my advice to you (take it or leave it), don't get the PS2. Its not worth the aggrevation and friction. Plus, she'll hang that friggin PS2 over your head for YEARS AND YEARS AND YEARS to come.
Think about it, anytime you mess up you'll know she'll bring it up. Forget to take out the trash, late for dinner, heck, tuck your shirt in a way she doesn't like it... You'll know she'll be like, "But you didn't forget to buy that Playstation 2, didya? HUH? HUH? You and your stupid video games. Sometimes i think you like video games more than me. Well do you? I asked you a question!" (Notice how she really didn't ask you a question but then says she did. Do you really want that?)
Plus some of the other guys mentioned it, GTA will be coming out for xbox in the not too distant future, and they'll be other wrestling games for xbox as well.
another thing is that i bought a playstation 2 when it first came out, sold it got a xbox, bought a playstation 2 to play a game i really wanted to play (like you're contemplating now) after about a month it just sat there collecting dust and i ended up selling it again. There are a ton of great game out (and coming out) for xbox that'll keep you busy until the release of GTA. So until then, forget about the PS2, and just enjoy the benefits of having your girl like you. (wink, wink) That alone is worth not getting it!Comment

Don't get the PS2.
You're going to piss her off and she will nag you to death over it.
Trust me even though you really want GTA and Smackdown it's not worth it.Comment
