That brings up another point - once the stranger missions get ironed out I don't think there's going to be as many griefer complaints. Because with a map as large as this one there's no way that one griefing posse can disrupt all of the stranger missions - maybe a few in a specific region at most. I think it's a max of 32 in a server, so there's going to be a ton of open space and missions to do no matter what.

From the way I understand the servers, as you move between regions you have the chance to move around servers so that there is always people in your general area. You aren't locked into one lobby with 32 people. If you're in Valentine with another person and you ride to Annesburg and they ride to Tumbleweed then there is a good chance by the time you all reach your destinations you're in separate lobbies.

I may be wrong, but I've read it a few times on reddit and it makes sense with what I've personally seen at times with wonky server behavior.

Online update rolling out, looks like R* listened.

      Notably:
-Increasing the cash and gold payments across a number of different activities including Free Roam Missions, Free Roam Events, replays of A Land of Opportunities Missions, Showdown Series modes and more.

-Reducing the prices of most weapons in the Wheeler, Rawson & Co Catalogue and Gunsmiths. For players that have already purchased weapons at the previous prices, we will automatically deposit the difference to player balances starting today - please look for an alert message the next time you log in to the Red Dead Online Beta to notify you of this change, refunds may take up until December 10th to reach all players.

-Balancing the values of select pelts, skins and fish as well as horse reviver and pamphlets.

Also gifting anyone who played the beta anytime from the start through today with RDO$250 and 15 gold bars.

Jeez, 15 gold bars? A little overkill, lol.

15 gold bars? That's one hell of a mea culpa from Rockstar.

Well they saw the backlash of what Fallout 76 suffered when they gave back so little and they saw the backlash BF5 had. Rockstar didn't want any of that smoke.

$10 for a perfect, unskinned buck now. Is that higher than it was before? Seems like it. It's certainly more than any stranger mission I did pre-update.

way higher. Before I think it was $2 or $3.

Nice. I ran into a bear shortly after this but had no way of killing it (let alone getting a high-quality kill for $$). Instead it mauled me twice.

Missions still seem to be bugged (not that it was in the update notes as being fixed or anything). I took a repo mission at Riggs station and nothing happened after talking to the mission giver.

The other issue is when you see the stranger again for another mission the game thinks you completed the previous mission.

Does anyone know if they tuned it to where you can't skin the deer and take its carcass in and basically double your money selling the carcass and what you got from skinning it?

I know I made a pretty penny taking advantage of that, but would like to see it changed. Skinning should mostly be to get meat to cook, imo, with the skin pelt being a piece to get a little money from it still as well as antlers if applicable.

Just finished Chapter 6 and wanted to say that, as a fan of the series, this game is everything I hoped it'd be and more. Incredible.

On chapter 6 now, and while I recognize all the great qualities and top of the line production value the game possesses, it never managed to grab fully pull me in. Feels more like a grind or labor to get through rather than something I can kick back, relax, and unwind to when playing. Most of the main missions aren’t very interesting or fun to play, the story is predictable and sometimes flat out dumb, and game controls and menus stink (even after you become accustomed to them).

I’m going to see it through to the end, but I can’t wait for it to finally be over and done with.

Ok. I’m officially sick of losing my Repeater every time I get off my horse to do something. They seriously need to patch this!

Forgot to post these last week (couldn't do it at school since OS is blocked there).

Last weekend I proctored SAT's at another school, and in the far back corner of the classroom there were two drawings: one on the whiteboard and one on a piece of binder paper taped to the whiteboard. I do not know what they are for since there is no context, but to me they strikingly look like clue #1 and clue #2 of an RDR treasure map hunt!
