Are you talking about online play or regular SP?

I think we should have a thread dedicated specifically for online play (in the NSG Online sub-forum).

Sorry I was referring to online stranger missions.

Maybe I have nothing to say to Rockstar.

Reread my post. I made it very clear that this title is the confirmation that online is not for me. Instead of reacting so quickly, you could have realized that it likely means that I already don't play online much at all.

I'm not missing anything. Online gaming is whack to me. And RDR2's online is further confirmation that I'm wasting money ever trying to get into it.

Not for me. I never said it was trash or something someone else couldn't enjoy.

I can't remember the last time I played a game online. I long ago accepted that I'm just not the target demographic. I'm happy some people are enjoying it but I'll likely never click on the option in the main menu.

I finally bagged a 3 star Elk. Not only that.....another one was near him....tracked him as well and bagged him.

They were freaking hard to find! Big valley is a wonderful hunting area. I am now looking for some 3 star Cougar’s and Bison. Also nice that I found another Trapper location there.

I am addicted to getting top skins to craft Trapper clothing. Many of the clothing/hats/chaps/coats options are bad ***.

I've had a lot of fun hunting and fishing to rack up cash online. I hope that when they tune the economy they allow hunting and fishing to remain decent money makers and only change gun prices some and make missions pay out better.



In my opinion players should be given plenty of activities like we have now. We can hunt and fish, we can do outlaw-type missions, we can do bounties, we can do good honor missions like defending wagons from robbers, and so on. I think players should be able to find what activities they like most and be given payouts in these activities that are reasonably similar for the time and effort spent.



Essentially, I don't want Rockstar to make certain activities cash cows resulting in players neglecting other ones. I understand harder missions/challenges should pay more, but everything should be balanced. If I want to hunt all day I should be able to make money similar to if I had spent the day doing missions of similar difficulty. If I am hunting deadly game all day then my payouts will be better just like doing difficult missions. If I am hunting defenseless deer all day then my pay will be lower similar to a less dangerous mission.


It might be irrational, I just fear them tuning things out of whack and making certain activities pointless to do because they pay terrible like the stranger missions at the moment. Just make everything pay out reasonable for the time and effort spent so that we can be whatever we want online and not be behind.

IMO another thing that need to be tuned is robbing people and places of business. At this point it is worthless because the payout is extremely low. Also the payout should scale to the location you are at. For example robbing somebody in Rhodes should be low. But robbing people in St. Denis, Austin and Blackwater should be way higher. Including the stores in said areas. It would be totally cool if you rob say a gun store or doctor office, not only you steal their money but a bulk of their supply too and be able to sale the stolen supply to the fence. That would make for a much better economy.

I mean hell at least give me a hundred bucks for robbing a store. Not some $2 or $4. But I agree, hunting the bigger and more exotic animals should pay out wayyyyyy more then they currently do. Especially if you take it to a butcher in area where said animal isn't native to. Like if I take some gator, turtle, etc. to anywhere outside the swamp region, I should be getting mega bucks for it being so hard to come by in those areas.

Currently I see online players killing farm animals for money. Even then you don't get no where near enough money. Like I bring you an entire cow. Easily should be no less then $50. Currently robbing people, get 5 cents, 12 cents. Like come on......Bring an entire perfect condition sheep, $5. Like really ? That's it ? I wish there was a way you can gather up some oil and sale it to a fence.

Just some missed opportunities.

Region specific prices is something I had hoped for in the singleplayer as well. I doubt it is ever a thing, though. I also wish each town had its own inventory of items that made them more unique. I hate that every clothing store sells all of the available clothing. I'd love to have to go explore and see what the clothing store in X sold compared to Y.


I think making every store, area, etc. unique would be great and make each part of the map worthwhile going to. Based off of GTAO, though, I don't see that happening at all.

This morning, I went to YouTube to look for a song. Upon typing in the Youtube address and reaching the site, I'm greeted with videos recommended for me. The very first video is a HUGE spoiler that I'm assuming is either the end of the game or towards the end. I haven't searched any RDR2 videos on Youtube or anything like that, so rest assured I am extremely pissed haha.

The very first video is a HUGE spoiler that I'm assuming is either the end of the game or towards the end. I haven't searched any RDR2 videos on Youtube or anything like that, so rest assured I am extremely pissed haha.

Same thing happened to me. Just the title of a YouTube video spoiled the biggest part of the ending for me. Ive has the same thing spoiled twice since then on two other forums though haha.

How are you guys hunting for iguanas to upgrade the satchel? The only areas they exist in are Guarma (not available until chapter 5) or the area that's dead or alive areas out west

There's some islands in the middle of Flat Iron Lake that have some.
