I've been watching quite a few Westerns getting ready for this game. I'm so ready for next Friday!

2 discs and 90 GB...oof. It was nice knowing you, PS4 HDD free disc space.

I wonder how that's going to work for physical - just install both discs at the initial installation, one after the other, I guess? Disk-switching's not going to be a thing here since this generation runs games completely from the HDD...

I would think that's how it will be. I was going digital but getting the most out of my GCU while I can. Release day delivery ..and I wanted the physical to put beside RDR1 game lol.

Westerns have been a tough slow genre for a while. In more recent years Slow West was good and have Hostiles up next in the que.

Unforgiven is probably hands down the best on Netflix at the moment.

Young Guns from the 80s is also decent.

If only Tombstone or The Assasinaton of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford was on there.

Unforgiven for sure. It's the best right now.

Godless is a good series. Also, Hatfields and McCoys.

3:10 to Yuma is awesome too. It's on Amazon Prime I believe.

Silverado is another underrated one with a fantastic cast. I'm not sure if it's streaming anywhere for free, but it's worth a rent.

They're older but here are two great John Wayne westerns (and honestly, no watching of the genre should be without him)

The Searchers (1960): probably his best

The Shootist (1976): His swansong and honestly, it serves as a great eulogy to the classic style western


I don't play videogames anymore but i look forward to this one a lot so will be watching LPs from my fave youtube channels.
