Anyone else sometimes catch themselves quoting Arthur? I hope no one ever hears me muttering things to myself like, “You, sir are a fish.”

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
I just don't like how your honor goes down when you're in an isolated area or nobody can possibly know who you are.
If I independently, stealthily killed 100 different people in secluded areas, the prices of the items I purchase in Valentine would soar up. That doesn't make sense.
I'd rather trade off a more impactful negative honor demerit for each thing I'm actually caught doing in turn for no penalty so long as I can't be demoralized in the citizens' eyes.
Agreed. I’d rather “Good” options during dialogue or missions were removed if your honour meter was low.
I also don’t like how if I’m attacked for “accidentally running into a citizen” I lose honour points or become wanted for defending myself.

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
Finally started playing the epilogue, last night. I had beaten the game, but I still had some things I wanted to do with Arthur before the end, so I reloaded my save before the last mission. In Epilogue 1, I had a couple of things hit me the way Marston crossing into Mexico did in RDR1.SpoilerWhen we get into the gun fight at Hanging Dog Ranch, the music from RDR1 hits! And then, when John pulls the case from under the bed and puts on his gear from RDR1, I had legit chills! Gonna take my time exploring the southwest without getting immediately shot at, now.#LFC

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
So we finished up the main story and are now on Epilogue Part 1.
It was an awesome ride.
I kept a save file before the finale so I can go back and explore more, find cards, bones, Dream Catchers, and all the other little nuggets the game has.
I have a question though.
SpoilerWere you guys able to access the lower South West of the map (Mexico,Armadillo and Blackwater without getting chased all the time?) I have not ventured down there yet and will do so this evening to get the other legendary animals....and discover new stuff). Incredible I never went down there yet with all the hours I free roamed LMAO! edit: I just realized you can go around Blackwater to access the South West part of the map....duh!!!Last edited by Armor and Sword; 01-22-2019, 02:32 PM.Now Playing on PS5:

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
I have a question I'm trying to craft the poison arrow and dynamite arrow and cant seem to be able to so I can get that task done. I have all the ingredients I need per the guide and still when I go to a campfire it doesn't have those 2 arrows that I can make.
I have done the lenny fetch quest where he gives me the arrow and I think I also bought the recipe. I don't think I died after I bought the recipe or anything.Retro Redemption - Starting over with a oldschool PowerBone Offense

That's the design.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
I'm on my second playthrough and it's still so glorious but for different reasons. My first time around, I was enthralled by the world but also transfixed by the storyline. Not to mention, there was a part of me that wanted to finish the storyline before I had it spoiled for me. In addition, I didn't wander to new locations until the storyline dictated, so any locales from the end of the story didn't get a lot of play.
Now, I'm in Chapter 2 and I may as well be a land surveyor. I'm just rolling from spot to spot and filling out my map (didn't realize that houses and buildings often become labeled on your map once you explore them). I'm constantly amazed at the different things you can discover. There's so much beauty and wonder out there.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
If they do DLC, I really hope they focus on the RDR1 map. The desert and plains, down there are so beautiful. Brings back lots of memories, too!#LFC

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
This game is impressive, to a degree, regarding the world they have created. It's also greatly suffers from the same tedium and redundancy Rockstar is known for.
I've slogged my way to Saint Denis and the question that lingered at the previous parts is now front and center: Why am I playing this again?
Even focusing on missions is like watching paint dry, fortunately they allow you to skip some of the cut scenes, but that's like being allowed to run a red light only to get to the next red light.
Sorry, I had to say it: The emperor has no clothes.

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
i am trying now to 100% the single player in this amazing game, but i just noticed something is think either this game has a mind of its own or it is possesed.
the way the animals spawn in this game reminds me of the saying "when u need a cop u never find one", got my drift?
i spent dozens of hours hunting those animals and birds for both the achievements for studying and skinning and the gunslinger squirel and those challenges.
but i feel like when u r actively looking for a spesific animal it never spawn, but once u manage to find it and start doing other thing, it become "normal" to see this exact animal everywhere
a case i faced yesterday, i was grinding those 5 kills of cougars with the bow and skin them for the master hunterc challenge, and i couldnt find anyone, i searched everywhere has a cougar shape on it and never managed to find one, until i came to youtube video about how to grind it out from the same place, after i got my 5 kills and i went on my way, i encountered not one, but three cougars while i was traveling to my next waypoint, two of them attacked me at the same time!!!
and i am looking for tennessee walker horse so i can break it for the horseman challenge number 10 and i can't find anywhere, but before this i was hitting this horse left and right!
i can't find this damn common horse anywhere!!
am i the only one who sees this in this game? or what?Comment

For me, their games are probably the ONLY games that I don't skip cutscenes. Love being immersed and "playing a movie" , so to speak.
