I’m kinda thinking the same thing. I’ll be playing Cyberpunk for a looong time, so it would probably make sense for me to just wait.

I see that as good news.

When games are rushed out the result is MGS V's second act and Mafia III.

I disagree in regards to those two games being rushed out. In fairness to Konami, they gave Kojima a lot of leeway and let him release that prequel that setup MGS 5. If anything, Kojima simply took too long and it made sense because his contract was expiring and Konami wasn't going to keep him so the game had to be released.

As for Mafia III (and even for MGS 5), I see it as more of "why is this open world" than anything else. Some games/franchises should simply not be open world. Mafia and MGS being two of them.

As for TLOUP2 being delayed, I need another small two week delay so I can hit my original prediction of June 12th, 2020. Hehehe. In general, the delay allows me to lessen my backlog which is great news for me since I want to be as close to done as possible with this gen in a year from now.

Yeah I'm thinking that as well anything after April, is in serious doubt now.
I think if current pandemic doesn't start looking better by June, then I expect more things to be canceled

Its hard to know the exact reason to why it was delayed in the official statement the mentioned bugs, virus and logistics issue. They also probably don't want to mention how its not a good time to release a game about a strange virus thingy that whipped out the country.

You have to think this causes Ghost to be delayed as well however then you get in to a whole bigger issue of releasing both games and the ps5 within in a short window.

Yeah i think thats the main reason theu delayed or else they could of done what FF7 remake is doing. Digital on time but physical gets there when it gets there.
