Downloading now. Can't wait to check it out. This is the first beta I am taking part in. Is it just a portion of the game to play? Will this be a multiplayer beta?

the pace is great, it's actually a tiny bit slower than cod4. There is some weird stickyness though and some frame issues and my game froze after a match, but it's a beta so whatever.

If you requested it today you won't get it till Sep 1st......that's what is in the fine print. I guess codes are being sent out in two batches depending when they were requested.

First email delivery is: August 25, 2017 if code is requested between 12:00AM August 21, 2017 and 11:59PM August 24, 2017. Final email delivery is: September 1, 2017 if code is requested between 12:00AM August 24, 2017 and 11:59PM August 31, 2017. All times Eastern.
Beta starts approximately 1PM ET on August 25, 2017 on PS4 system and ends on August 28, 2017. Beta starts Sep. 1, 2017 on PS4 and Xbox One and ends on September 4, 2017.

Ps4 downloads things faster in rest mode. It is a relief to play with boots on the ground. You still will see your bunny hopping rabbits, and dolphin divers. I like that it shows the name of area on map that your located and changes when you get to a new area.

The sound is great with headphones on. I had to up the sensitivity for horizontally. It was fun for the hour that I played it. There were times when most of the losing team would quit and it was like full team vs 2. I see a lot of people using the grease gun. It works well in tight areas.

I really suck at this game so far. I was used to Medal of Honor when I was younger. I mostly got the game for the campaign anyway. I may dabble in multiplayer.

I'm kind of so so on it, because even though I said the pace is slow, it's actually kind of fast lol - it's the map design, coupled w/ the animation, coupled w/ the terrible loading times/menus and the fact that I was playing COD4 literally right before and STILL prefer that. Why? Honestly the graphics in ww2 aren't better during gameplay and the classic cod4 'feel' is just different w/ the guns and movement being off just enough for me to be put off a bit.

The mp maps for the beta I'm not a fan of, in fact, one of them feels exactly like one of the newer ones (and I think it is) w/ a ww2 skin over it - its a lot of tight corridors that feel contrived and a lack of locations you'd think would make sense. Bad for traditional sniping w/ no long sight lines and no elevated positions and not much of a spread on the ground. Also quick-scoping is a real thing - which sucks because if they nerf that it would also hurt traditional sniping.

But I'm not doing a ton of sniping in TDM because the maps make it irrelevant. It's fine in the war mode but TDM is currently has sub-par maps and really bad spawning.

The game has a long way to go before it can surpass my 'mediocre' rating of it. It's too bad because the earlier footage had me extremely hyped, even the MP stuff. I pre-ordered on the psn store, so I guess I'll play it no matter what - but it's simply astounding that I prefer 2007's Cod4 - like wtf.

Different strokes I guess. This game is still the same to me, too bad because I was hoping they'd really turn it around on this one. Played some tdm & war, I'm not going to get deep into movement mechanics, ttk, whatever because why. I'll just simply say it ain't Battlefield (nor is it trying to be and I get that). I also acknowledge that there are people that prefer cod to BF so no doubt some people will love this game I'm sure.

I take back what I said about playing all weekend heh. I was truly pumped for this cod showing.

It's decent fun, I had fun in a few war matches so I'm not completely ****ting on the game. I hope people enjoy playing it more than I did.

I have been shot in the back a lot of times because of the spawns. Somebody had the flamethrower, all i kept hearing was loud screams like a hostel movie. I am not even going to try and play the war mode. I watched some streams of it being a sniper fest.
