NPCs seemingly have full on lives? They are a blast to follow and listen to!

I stole a better ship and space combat is so much fun killing everything and flying around. Any time I am on a planet and see a ship land I try to go steal it and it's a lot of fun. I'm on my third ship now and loving being a space pirate who mostly, but not always, follows the rules.

No issues here with 5800x cpu, 6800xt gpu. I’m getting 80-90 fps in most areas on 4k high. In Atlantis it dipped to 50-60 fps.

I stole a better ship and space combat is so much fun killing everything and flying around. Any time I am on a planet and see a ship land I try to go steal it and it's a lot of fun. I'm on my third ship now and loving being a space pirate who mostly, but not always, follows the rules.

This is the beauty of this game. There’s so many different ways to play it. I’m 15 hours in and haven’t touched any of that lol.

So yeah, you can break bones, sprain joints in this game too. Romance a good number of people as well. Last night I just did a whole lot of side missions for Barrett. One of the planets I went to had these giant spider looking things just all over the place. Lock picking can be easy until you get to the harder locks than yeah you really have to think. Modded some of my guns. I don't have a problem with space combat, for me, it remind me of Wing Commander space combat. Upgrade your skill tree for certain things pertaining to a ship controls, it get easier. I also like in the game there are no shortage of recruits for your ship and outposts. You just have to have enough money to afford them.

I did not have any performance issues when I was playing. Random bugs, but nothing like frame drops. My system is pretty beefy so maybe not the best comparison, but I also had settings at max without issue.

I was super pumped for this, but I knew from watching streams it might not be my cup of tea, and I was correct it wasn't. I deleted it after a few hours. Unreal game, concept, etc. Just not for me unfortunately!

Runs well on High, some Ultra, very smooth, one crash in 47 hours of play so far, just went back to desktop (I was doing a bunch of things and tabbing around so it's probably on me, LOL)

You can line up all your pins and they’ll stay how you left them when you cycle back through, so you can line them all up properly and then just click through them all to unlock.

I am doing the same thing. I only managed to get one so far. Almost two in night last but the thing took right before I could board it. Did register my first one today though.

Hey! Hey! Has anybody heard from our guy Kramer yet? Or has he been sucked into the Starfield? LOL. Better go check some spaceports to find him.

48+ hours in. Love the game. 9.5 for me. All I wanted was Oblivion/Fallout in space and it hit the target. Sorry if I'm repeating myself if I mentioned it in a prior post, but the things I really dislike:

1.) the inventory system is pretty poorly implemented. I know you can cycle by weight, value and name, but I wish the categories and filters were more vast. I hate that digipicks are lumped into misc. with all the junk. So easy to sell.

2.) I forgot where I built an outpost. Oops.

3.) The outpost building 'camera' angles are truly dreadful.

4.) I forgot where I built an outpost. I mentioned it already, but lawd. I FORGOT.

5.) The UI isn't great, in my opinion, asides from just the inventory. Going around the starmap is a bit aggravating. I wish that you could bookmark or favorite planets, and if there was a way to group those 'favorites' or whatever into categories, that would be wonderful.

6.) Lack of a custom waypoint of some sorts. Kinda goes hand in hand with the bookmarks/favorites in #5. Wish I could place a custom waypoint somewhere, where I want to check out but not immediately, so I can come back to it with relative ease.

Hey, thanks for saying this and not bashing it! Truly an act of maturity.

So many 'reviewers' have been writing things like, "BORING!" without context or including personal misgivings that roll over into odd attacks towards the game that are unwarranted or untrue. It's odd to see.

But Bethesda games aren't everybody's thing, or the setting isn't people's preference. All good, all good!

I'm the same way with certain titles (Hi-Fi Rush released earlier this year, as a surprise drop for Game Pass, was heavily praised and I simply did not enjoy it all despite badly wanting to).
