Curse of the Pharaohs beaten. Took me about a dozen attempts, but I finally took down the last Pharaoh boss. Good lord was he hard. These Pharaoh bosses are like dashing tanks. Their armor is super thick and their weapons deal huge damage. Give this DLC 10 out of 10.

    Some thoughts

Any advice on how to beat Ramseses? I've tried everything! I got close one time using heavy blunts but they're so slow I end up getting caught by him and slammed all to hell.

Also pretty sure I sold all my silica on accident so I guess I won’t be getting that outfit you get after doing the stars thing. Kinda bummed.
You need to go through The Hidden Ones to Level Up. Level 45 feels like a baby on Curse of the Pharoahs 🤣🤣🤣

Sword and arrows for all of them. I prefer light bows, then use the warrior bow afterwards. Heavy blunts are way too slow and more then likely like you said you will get grabbed by them which takes half of your life away, sometimes 90% of your life away. Spears don't do enough damage, neither does the mace and twin daggers. Axes are too slow too.

When fighting Ramses when the dust storms roll through while fighting, keep your distance from him. Seriously you want to back up all the way to the barrier for you can better see him charging at you during the dust storm.

It is easier to deal with the bosses if you leveled up your skill tree quite a bit. Like for me my warrior was level 8 and my hunter was level 3. So therefore with melee attacks I had 8% bonus and my ranged attacks had 3% bonus. I also maxed out my melee attack gear armor and did another bar for the range attack armor gear.

My strategy for all bosses was to immediately start with a charge attack, followed by 3 quick strikes and dash out. Then I would hit them with some light arrows, which filled my charge attack bar and charge attack them again. Once my light arrows were gone, I switched to my warrior bow and repeated the process. Eventually you will run out of arrows, but by that time your would have took a little more then half their health bar away. So then it becomes a circling marathon. I just constantly circled them, wait for them to lunge at me and then hit them in the back or side 3 times with a light attack and dash out. Just kept doing that.

You will want to use light attacks, not heavy attacks. If you use heavy attack you will only get one blow in. With a light attack you can get 3, once in a while 4 attacks in. Don't want to get greedy though because you will get caught. Balls of fire don't really work on bosses, so don't waste your time throwing those. Shield bash does work, so you can use that.

Thanks. I'm gonna give those a shot. I've been kind of winging it as I'm playing on easy and I just upgrade My flaming sword to whatever my level is. I also have this tendency to use only one weapon. I guess its because I made it so far doing that. That time is over. Lol.

              Re: Assassin's Creed: Origins

Just finished the game. What a ride. People lament the state of gaming today and I get it. There's nothing new under the sun when it comes to "fetch quest" games. But there's something about crafting a beautiful world that makes it a journey. Being able to explore these worlds in 4K on a great surround set is a treat. I got lost in Origins for hours. The afterlife areas are striking and unique. I find myself quitting a lot of games as they all feel the same, but what I realized is that it's the setting that captures me. I honestly couldn't keep up with the thread of the Pharoahs story but it's been a treat all the same. Kudos Ubisoft! I went from burned out on the AC franchise to spending over 90$ on it. Lol. Up next; GOW.

I got jump-scared more than I'd like to admit when I let my guard down and rushed into a room that looked safe.

At Level 50, starting the Rameses portion of Curse of the Pharoah's, I'm probably about 130+ hrs into this game and still having an absolute blast!
I remember during Ubisoft's business call they mentioned having more stuff for Bayek after the DLC, I really enjoy playing with the character, I hope they have some stuff for the 3rd and 4th quarters of the year.

Far as I know, this is the last DLC for this game. It would be awesome if they surprised us with some more. I personally want some DLC of Aya in Rome building up the Brotherhood in Europe or maybe Bayek going to Rome.

I can't believe how huge the map is. I'm at level 38 and there's still 10 areas I haven't started to explore.

Took on my first elephant yesterday. Yeah, it didn't go well.

                                Assassin's Creed: Origins

Traded in a couple games I knew I wasn’t going to play and picked this up along with Modern Warfare Remastered. I haven’t put this down since installing it yesterday. I played like 3 hours last night and probably as many this morning.

I love how the loot/leveling is reminiscent of Diablo but the “grind” feels more meaningful to me.

This is my 1st Assassin’s Creed.
