      Re: Anthem (PS4,X1,PC)

Played One S version for about 3 hours last night and I enjoyed my time with it. Controls feel good and gameplay is fun. The game is not groundbreaking or anything like that but it has provided me with some solid entertainment. I thought the game looked pretty good to me which goes against what I was expecting based on what a lot of these youtubers were saying (I believe the Division 2 demo graphics were more impressive to me though when it comes to One S). I do admit the game does suffer from some noticeable Frame Rate hits on occasion when weather effects like rain come into play. If I can convince a couple of my friends to pick it up as well I think I would enjoy it even more given the fact that I enjoyed my time with randoms. This game will only be as good as the time EA/Bioware spend updating content for it though.

I agree with Peter420 about that 'Get left behind and suffer load screen and loss of story' criticism as I truly despise that. He is also on point about the loot system and having to go all the way back to base to equip items(Unless I'm missing something). I also wish the game had some kind of threat indicator to tell me where gunfire/attacks are coming from (Maybe it is there and things are so hectic I'm missing it).

I did RedBox ps4 pro version also and hope to test that version out...

EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

If you have the compass HUD on, it shows you on there where the threat is coming from. It shows up as a red mark on the compass.

Anyone else suffering constant disconnects from EA online servers on PS4? I just spent an hour on a mission then got disconnected before I could get back to base. I better not have to go through the mission again

On the PC tonight it said I was on screen twice, but never booted me out of what I was doing. I exited it on my own and XP screen loaded up as always. My stuff I found was there.

I mean not being able too equip out in the field goes along with the game lore. You have these giant javalins that need the forge and machinery to put stuff on it. At least that's where my reasoning for it goes.

It’s not like the missions are that long anyways. Having to use the the forge to upgrade and equip really isn’t an issue for me.

I wish they would patch in a way where you could mass delete loot that you don't want anymore from your inventory. Doing it one at a time is slow. They also need more color choices for your javelin. Also would be cool if they had all your javelins on the the platform in the forge where you can just walk up to the one you want to use.

You also don't have to do it as frequently later in the game, compared to leveling even you feel compelled to do it nearly every mission.

Yeah this needs improvement. Vault is marginally better, marking things as junk and then mass deleting.

                          No waypoints is also puzzling.

All they need to do is put in a system to mark things as favorite/junk then a junk all junk option. It’s like standard stuff. Surprising it’s not there.

It's there, you have to go to the vault to use it. No favorites though, and marking things as junk takes like 2 seconds. So you only save like 1.5 seconds per salvage (which adds up when you need to delete 30 things)

How do you set the waypoints from the vault?
