There's always the possibility of Ghost of Tsushima being delayed and as a result, being a cross-gen title. The vast majority of Sony's top tier exclusives have been delayed at least once so it could happen with Ghost of Tsushima. If by their deadline, the game isn't ready to go, Sony will delay it so still a chance at it being a cross-gen title.

Well the rumor is TLOU being delayed a few months pushed this back a few months. So if that's the case then it should lower the chance for a delay especially since they want this game to come out in the window between TLOU and PS5.

Anyway, i dont know if ill like it or not but I hope its just that good.

Downloaded the free theme and will set it on January 1st since Ghost of Tsushima is my most anticipated game of 2020.

Definitely surprised that GOT is releasing only a month after TLOUP2. Didn't think that Sony would want to release a top tier AAA title which should end up being Sucker Punch's coming out party so close to what could end being te game of the generation in TLOUP2. Regardless, GOT is day one as it's been my most anticipated game since Days Gone. Hyped!!!

Interesting release date and its sooner then I projected however I think it makes the most sense. The rumors were this game was going to be released early in the year and was pushed back after TLOU moved off Feb. So the extra month to polish off game shouldn't be needed.

The 2nd half of the year is jam packed its basically a July release which as of now nothing major is in that window. That's still a month after TLOU so if you buy that at launch your either be done with it are getting really close. You can't release it in September as that's Cyberpunk and Avengers. August and October are bound to fill up soon and your getting into the heat of the ps5 news.

I know xbox claimed a free upgrade to all last gen games which pressures Sony to do the same. I still don't quiet believe on day 1 everything will instantly be better so we will see how that unfolds.

That's a good point so now your looking at coming out 4-5 months before the ps5. Since it was already pushed back that should give them time to have something ready to go at the ps5 launch. Do they just come out with a patch and we use the ps4 disk ? Do they sell it in a ps5 box with other improvements and a short DLC ? Is their some sort of way to do both ?

I'm still willing to hold off on playing this for the ps4 if I know day 1 I'm going to get a better game.

I think it will have a ps5 patch the day ps5 comes out.
