Expecting mid-80's overall. Either way, im day one digitally. Have to play as much as possible this weekend since I go back to work next week. Tsushima has been my 2nd most anticipated game since E3 2018 (Days Gone was #1) and im very much looking forward to it. A few more days to go!!!

Wish the game was out today. lol. The world has random encounters and side activities but you don't have to do them if you don't want to. There are side stories like Days Gone where instead of just a single quest, it's basically a story line that spans multiple quests. I'm in and just waiting at this point.

Pretty funny how almost all the "bad" score reviews I've read so far, have all mentioned in their own way that the game is a lot of fun.

Isn't having fun the most important aspect of a game? Seems like they're knocking off big points for other things, but literally still pointing out the game is fun.

Oh well, scores don't matter to me, I've got it preloaded already, and can't wait for Friday.

Most of the reviews find it fun. Most really like the combat. The cut scenes, story and maybe lack of depth hurt it at times. I’m picking it up on Friday. 20-30 hours seems good too.

A game being fun is something that means more to me after somehow playing Death Stranding for 40 hours.

I don't get how not being able to cutdown bamboo trees makes the list of negatives (gamespot)

Ah, but does it have LGBTQ representation or controversial fates for main characters? Don't want to see it review bombed or have devs and voice actors threatened, muddying the praise and positive critical reception.
