    Re: Ghost Recon: BreakPoint

Some of these reviews are just ridiculous. A 4/10? Really. I mean you'd have to put out a real piece of garbage for a score like that. And this game is far from garbage.

I don't know if reviewers were expecting something different completely, didn't ever play Wildlands, because this game is a lot like Wildlands. Which is a good thing.

And like Skillz pointed, some of the stuff I'm seeing in these reviews just isn't true. Shoddy video game journalism. Go figure.

Some guy on YouTube was blasting the game because you couldn't see things on your map like where to go and missions and stuff like that. Well he obviously wasn't using guided mode. And it's stuff like that, that gives the game a bad name because people will believe it and not think any different.

It seems to be the cool thing nowadays to hammer AAA titles. It get's clicks and views. I honestly can't remember seeing a positive video about any game for a while.

Ok Recon 1 is my new favorite sniper rifle. Found the blue print for it tonight. It is bullpup and I just love the sound it makes when it is fired. It sound so good. Came across a lot of players tonight in the 200s gear score.

I am not too picky with Sniper rifles, I have used 4 different ones. I put the same scope on them anyways and increase every weapon I use damage and range level. Weapons are currently MK2 level. Once I get enough parts, I will put them on MK3 level. My explosives are on MK2 level too.

I am also a sucker for pointing laser pointers on my weapons. Just look cool, especially at night time. I also tend to use my thermal goggles when sniping from distance at times. Make it easier to see when you are very far. My current longest shot is 497 meters.
apparently you are 3m shy of the max. People will proabably get higher with work-arounds, but the draw/spawn distance is 500m, also learned the largest scope in the game is 6x which to me is disappointing.

I get comments like gpu and cpu limits etc., but I have a kill in BF4 at over 1.2km and PUBG even though I don't have a kill over 420m, I know you can have much higher - both of those games are MP and both have 12x and 15x scopes respectively.
The open-world comment is fair, but in a case like pubg those maps are HUGE.

I'm not writing it off and actually the weak scope is more of a buzz-kill than the 500m

This is good intel here man thanks. Was at the refinery on a perfect overwatch cliff next to a bivouac site. Clearing out as much booger eaters as I could and I had my shot dialed in with the holds at 450+ but I found it kind of dead space at 500 on. Thought it was just me. Also, turns out my PS4 controller was “worn out” and the stick was not working well so I went ahead and just picked this bad boy up for the X and my what a difference. Love the game. There some hiccups for sure visually ect but far from deal breaker status. Having a blast. I do love the gratifying cartel missions more as that’s my particular interest, but the story and back drop is pretty unique. I can see the rabbit hole that Walker will end up revealing this eventually putting me in some moral dilemmas lol

What am I doing wrong with drone sync shot? I press L1 and nothing happens.

              Re: Ghost Recon: BreakPoint

You have to aim with a weapon at the target that you want to use sync shot drone on, then press L1. When it is locked on, you will see the little drone fly out your hand and towards the target. Then you HOLD L1 to make the drone kill the target. It is kind of stupid how they have it in Breakpoint. Would be way easier if you could just your drone to mark the targets for the sync shot drones.

Anyway at 157 or 159 now. Played around with the assault and panther class. Don't care for either class really. I doubt the medic class would be any better. Sniper seem to be where it is at. Kind of stupid every class share the same skill tree. Only difference between the classes is their 1 special gadget. Panther drone spray is really useless for majority of the areas and it don't last long enough to be really effective. The assault gas grenade is pretty good. The intel launcher grenade is pointless too considering you can just use your drone to see where the enemies are at.

Came across one of Walker's ummm I guess you call them Lieutenants or sub bosses. Seem to be a handful of them. Just discovered one of them. Trying to hunt him down and it is kind of a pain in the butt with how they dragging this finding him out. Going to place to place to place.......Yeah, find it annoying. You know what is really annoying though ? Severe lack of basic regular machine parts. After you reach a certain level, they no longer drop, but yet they are required to level up your weapons from MK1 to MK2. I went to Ubisoft's forum and other people are complaining about it too. Severe design flaw.

On my level only thing dropping are gold, purple and a few blue. That particular level that you need no longer drops. I guess they want you to use real money to level up from MK1 to MK3 because I noticed they sell those upgrade packs for the different classes of weapons on their online store. My skill tree is about 90% unlocked. Oh yeah that Panther smoke is so useless. In the trailer it made it look so awesome. In reality, yeah, NO. IMO it isn't thick enough or wide spread enough to be truly effective. Flashbangs are on the other hand, extremely powerful. When one of those things go off, you can't see jack, so they did a good job on that.

Also I don't know if it is a bug or what, but I died on one of the side missions. Every time I start a session, it instantly pops up that I failed said mission. EVERY TIME. Highly annoying and I don't see a way to keep it from popping up all the time. Just like the invite players thing that are ALWAYS popping up throughout the time you are playing. I mean eventually I will go back to said side mission and try it again. But I don't want to be constantly reminded of it every time I turn on the game or start over from being killed. Pops up on the screen in both scenarios.

You know you have it correct when the enemy type symbol goes from regular to bold above their head. So when you see it go bold, tap L1. Also learned by accident that you can get it work through buildings too with the sniper rifle. But yeah Ubisoft made this way overly complicated then it needed to be.

Changing my mind on guns, gonna run with G28 DMR and Tac50 or HTI sniper.

                    Can’t decide which one.

I have it on both PC and X1X and I definitely prefer it on PC. My PC setup is i7-8700, 16GB NVIDIA RTX 2080. Runs flawless on ultra settings.

                                In regards to drone sync:

Gentlemen I ran across this little piece of intel. You can’t simply just “unlock” the drone sync function in the skills tree and go to town with it. You have to go back to the mountain hideout to the engineer lady and “craft” it. Once you craft it THEN your able to use it. Not until then. I was stuck mad as ever until I dug a little and found the explanation on it.
