    Ahhhh..,,,,,

You are correct. I don’t have any COD game, haven’t since Xbox 360. Were just in house lock down here and want to download some stuff other than 2k to
    Play at night.

Warfare was free and new so it was the perfect candidate.

I gotta say, I'm loving Warzone ...I haven't played a COD game for over 10 years and the Battle Royale mode has really impressed me...it's definitely taken me away from PubG for the time being as it's a fresh-look with obviously upgrade visuals (HDR).

Does anyone know if they are expanding on this mode (i.e., adding more maps in the future)?

Agreed. It is VERY well done. Looks great, runs great, and is a lot of fun.

I was impressed with the base game but have enjoyed the BR more than I have any other BR game, easily. Even though I'm terrible.

No source to link, but a buddy told me they're going to squads of 4 and 200 players total.

I read about that as well. It's currently in testing. They also just added solo's to Warzone which I hope remains & not just a limited time mode. With the amount of people playing COD & having crossplay there's more than enough people to keep each mode populated.

What a crock of ****. It took me three days to download the first 20GB part of the free download so when that finished I said the hell with it and went and bought the game. Get home throw it in and it says I have 78GB to download. WTF was the point of buying the game if I still have to DL the game?

God almighty I’m ready to break the disc.

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019)

I haven’t had this much fun with COD since the the first couple Modern Warfare games on the 360. Warzone is great.

I do get owned by pc players quite a bit but I’m still in a lot of games, got close so many times. Today I got 2nd 4 times in a row today on teams, so frustrating. Then when I take a break my boys finally get one.

Had a couple issues with servers but it’s not really been that bad at all especially when literally everyone is home using the internet.

It has pulled me away from tarkov, pubg, and Hunt atm. It's truthfully a fantastic playing game and I'm loving it. Even picked up the battlepass

Really? I may have to give the series another chance.

I was a huge fan of MW and MW2 (Xbox 360 days), then I sort of fell out of love with the series and haven't thought about it again since. I'm one of the (apparently) rare people that like the campaign aspect of the games, and since in recent years it's seemed like it's all about online multiplayer, I haven't really bothered.

I'm not a fan (at all) of the COD style of hyper play, I'm more into slow paced shooters. Now with that said, there is some key things Warzone does right that puts it above the rest.
                    • Gulag - The one vs one gun game style to "earn" yourself another chance is great. Compound this with buy stations all over even if you don't succeed mean you always have the chance to get back into the action.
                    • Pacing - The flow of the gameplay is done extremely well. You don't feel rushed to loot, the circles close slow enough you can get into engagements and don't feel forced to abandon them due to the circle constantly making you move. Yet the gas is extremely punishing where you can't run the edge of the gas the entire time like most BR's with no fear of it. A short few seconds in the gas means death.
                    • Guns - The weapons feel great to shoot. They feel punchy and enough recoil to feel good but not so much you feel the need to run single shot constantly. While the guns feel forgettable, they do feel great to use.
                    • Back in - After putting 400+ hours into Tarkov the last several months and the terrible servers of waiting 10 to 15+ min to get into a match. It's a breath of fresh air to hop into Warzone and instantly get into a match over and over. You never feel stuck in the lobby/menus just waiting to play. Considering playing the game is the main point, it's great to get in match after match with no issues.
                    • TTK - Yes it's COD but they have the TTK spot on. It doesn't feel like APEX where your pinging shields all day and it's not ARMA where one well placed bullet will end your hour long mission, but it hits a perfect middle ground of feeling perfect.
                    • Perks - Perks in a BR seem like they would be over the top, but none of the abilities whether it's the cluster strike, precision strike, or UAV feel so over powering that it's frustrating. They are hard to utilize, so their tough to change a game with one, but when you land a successful strike, it feels great. Plus it's a nice addition to the "run from point A to B, engage enemies on the way".
                    • Overall - Is it COD.....Yes. It's just more in line with how the original Modern Warfare felt. Great movement, fun to play, fun to shoot, and did I say fun to play. It's all I could ask for in a BR shooter.

interesting - I haven't even tried booting it up because between Dreams and Pubg I haven't been 'wanting' lol, I might try it after reading your description. I actually own the game and found the MP to just be 'ok', it's not bad, but I also lacks a sense urgency or something it's hard to describe, the gun fights just don't feel tense at all, it's like I don't care or something.

I only have 2 gripes with Warzone

the map - I wish it was bigger. I love the 2 big Pubg maps, and especially with 150 people, unlooted space is limited. Also wish there was open water areas. The out of bounds lines just feel tacky compared to how other games design their maps.

The vehicles - The vehicles handle like N64 era vehicles with no weight or momentum. This is extremely jarring coming from Pubg.

When are you usually on Phobia and whats your activision account. Gamechat is surprisingly good and since theres cross play I can link up with you.

Only problem is you probably using a keyboard and mouse to play so that will throw me into those with you but with CoD aim assist it isnt too much of issue going up against KB/M users.

My other friends on PC I play with use a gamepad so I dont have to worry about KB/M players....lol.

I'll take that all day over driving in PUBG and hitting a small pebble that causes a wreck and half your health to disappear.

                                But until then...

I've had fun so far with Warzone. Having a squad of buddies always helps on this game type because it can be very tedious at the start of games. My previous BR experience was only on PUBG. Obviously the performance is 100x better. I've accepted that Warzone is made to appeal to everyone so it's not nearly the loot grind like PUBG is. I've yet to get disconnected or booted. We had one lobby never fill past 103, but after about a minute it finally started to count down and the game started.

We get a Loadout every single game. They really need to them more expensive to buy. It would make the dropped loadouts more competitive too. Having drops limited to one person would help a lot also. I'd honestly be fine if they got rid of them altogether really, but that is wishful thinking.

They need to get rid of this limit 3 BS. At the absolute minimum 4. More wishful thinking, but I wouldn't mind seeing a type with up to 6.

The gulag needs to be shorted down a lot. It should be there for people that die in like the first two circles. Otherwise for how little time I have to play having a chance to get back in makes it more enjoyable.
Two weeks later and my opinions are all pretty similar. Still having a blast with it. I've only ran into lag issues in the past few days. Still never been disconnected or anything.

Quads is desperately needed. Loadout drops are still too easy to get.
