No, not at all. I certainly didn't take it that way. I was just clarifying my original position is all.
Your points were well-taken and considered. I understand why you made them, which is why I thought I would add some background (e.g. I have played a bunch of COD in the past) so there was some context to my issue with the game. Well, "issue" is a bit generous, I should just call it what it is: a complaint.
Anyway, I realized after reading the back-and-forth exchange, it does sound like I'm taking the position of "I didn't win right away, I suck at the game, I've tried nothing and I'm all out of patience". Which I suppose is sort of true, and that's my fault for not more clearly articulating my position. There's no reason anyone else would just automatically know my complete gaming history and context, so it was basically a spur-of-the-moment musing and not particularly well thought-out.
I will give it another shot at some point, I guess my last add-on complaint was it was taking a long time to get back into games after you die (and then after I immediately get killed in the gulag), so my "time waiting to get into a game" and "time playing the game" was basically getting to be a 1:1 ratio, which is a bit too low for my liking (although right in-line with my lifetime K: D ratio across COD's LOL).
