I doubt if the PS3 will be more powerfull. Sony makes they're products to break down after a certain period of time. Say..2-3 years then you must get a replacement or fix. Then they have a knack for leaving things off the original console so it could be sold as a seperate accessory. Network adapters, keyboards, headsets, multi-tap...just some examples. They intentionally leave those accessories off so they can make more money. Sony is notorious at doing that.

PS3 will be more powerful of course since it will be launching in 2006. And I wouldn't rule out the Saturn/DC scenario yet, the PS3 will be revealed well before xbox 2 launches.

This has nothing to do with the power of the PS3, you are just noting product quality. Both PS3/Xbox 2 have patent's out there that should give you an idea of each systems power and based on those PS3 has the edge in a few areas. One thing is certain there will not be a huge gap like there was this gen so thats all that matters.

As for accessories Xbox doesn't come with a headset last time I checked. It doesn't support a keyboard so that shouldn't be listed. The slim PS2 has a built in NA and I'm 100% PS3 will have a built in network card.

It won't be that much more powerful. PS3 comes out six months after Xbox 2, by the time Xbox 2 realeases the PS3 specs will be FINAL. Spec wise both systems will be very even, at least thats the way it seems as of now.
