I agree. Also Vice City as well would do big numbers remastered for next gen.

With next gen discs sizes reaching 100GB, I think they would able to fit multiple games on the same discs. If Vice City and San Andreas remaster was on the same disc, it would do crazy numbers. Especially including the Vice City Stories.

I would put shampoo and my mom's left over meatloaf from the night before in the toilet then make vomit sounds so I could stay home from school to play San Andreas. Still my fav

I think with GTA IV either you love it or hate it. The story was serious and to the point. I don't think I played it through the first time around at release. But I played it through last year and enjoyed it. But, I can see why most wouldn't have liked it because of how serious it was. Wasn't as "fun" as some of the other titles and was a departure in certain aspects. GTA 3 was serious but not as much as it was in GTA 4.

What I like when I was younger was the cheat codes lol. I would play the game normally first time around, then 2nd go around, I would just see how it would affect missions. I still remember some of them by heart lol. I didn't know GTA V had cheat codes until like a year ago, but you couldn't really use them in missions.

Vice City all day for the setting & music alone.

Plus I use to like enabling the codes to give all pedestrians weapons, make them riot and just make a game outta that trying to survive. Don't know why they removed stuff like that.

Re: Your favorite Grand Theft Auto?

In order the ones I enjoyed the most:

                San Andreas
                III
                V
                IV

Vice City. Note: Good Morning America ran a hit piece on the “disturbing violence” of Vice City. So I got to play it Day 1 and then it got banned for me on Day 2. After that I had to sneak to play it so I never got to properly enjoy it.

                I enjoyed them all thoroughly.

Ive only played the original, San Andreas, IV and V. The original is good. I loved San Andreas. I hated IV and I loved V. I think I would rank V over San Andreas though.

I played the first 10 or so missions in GTA 3 this weekend. Talk about no BS - just straight to the point from the get-go. Totally forgot about the cast of voice actors and I legitimately forgot how to restore health (without finding a health pill) until it dawned on me randomly.

The gem here now is Chatterbox. Talk about a complete time warp to 20 years ago.

Gameplay wise its OK. I forgot how much of pain the default shooting controls are.

I tried playing GTA 3 on the ps4. But the framerate is just awful. I seen online that the PS2 version is not as bad so I'll just order it for that at some point.

Haven't noticed any major problems with the games on PS4. I fired up Vice City this past weekend. Its...definitely a game made from a different time.

Yeah I'm not sure if that game is just like that. I will give it another go at some point. I want to play through all the ps2-ps4 ones.

Vice City and San Andreas remain two of my favorite games of all time. They do show their age these days. I played them both over on PC a couple of summers ago. Anymore, I think they're best fit for playing on your phone. Sitting down at the PC to play them just doesn't do it anymore. It's no fault of the games, it is just how much games have progressed since then.

Probably a pipe dream, but if the Switch could get the PS2/Xbox collection that would be amazing.

Gameplay wise they haven't aged well, but I feel like the story/characters/et al in Vice City would not play well in today's climate. The other two games are dated, but nothing too outrageous.
