I like the sentiment. Some of the those BF3 maps were primo. Especially the middle eastern maps. Why I play portal and get the JTF servers. Honestly I had to Google the best settings for this game and overhauled quite a bit using a gamer site settings, tuning, and color mods for XBX. Makes a world of difference as I get a good clean screen and responsive gameplay. I really did try to get into COD MW2 MP. I just can’t. It’s cluttered and absolutely chaotic. There is no sense of space in that game unless your playing warzone. I really don’t know what it is, but I enjoy the movement, shooting engagements, and size of maps in BF over COD so 2042 is kind my go to despite the complaints.

I could live with this, or Bad Company 3, but EA themselves have already said they have no idea what made the Bad Company games good.

I personally think the series has gotten to fast paced over the years. If I want a run and gun shooter, I have CoD. Battlefield was always a slower paced game, it wasn't ARMA or Squad slow, but it was still a slower game where teamwork actually mattered.

They've just moved away from that completely with 2042. At least with V, it was a little quicker, but the attrition really made squad and teamplay important like the older games. After all the updates, it felt like a real BF game. 2042 feels like I am playing CoD's attempt at BF, but the sad thing is, Ground War in CoD does Battlefield better than 2042 does.
