Awee man I played sad side quest last night. It was long too. I must say some of these side quests stories be insane, they did a mighty good job on them.

Game get's better and better the deeper you go.

Loved my last quest and picked up a warrior companion which was much needed. Love that Griffon!!!!

Anyway.....super cool story is unfolding and the game is totally different in terms of set pieces, story, combat etc from DA3. It's not the same old same old at all.

You can see how much care they put into all of it.

56 hours and 33 minutes later, I have beaten the game. One hell of a ride with 95% of the side quests done. That last battle was one heck of a battle. Give the game a 10 out of 10. It hit every note, the history, the lore, combat, story, characters. They knocked it out of the park. Nothing felt rushed or cut short.

I would call it Game of The Year worthy. And it most certainly the best RPG I played in probably 10 years or more. Now I am hoping they can do this with the next Mass Effect game.

I don't know if people have noticed but some of the music is Mass Effectesque.

My goodness…..we are off and running hardcore now. The combat is so amazing on DA4. Best in the series. The side quests and companion quests are so good.

What a fantastic RPG. This will demand another play through. I think what I may actually do is go back and replay them all. I still have my PS3 (of course) so we can hit DAO and DA2 on there.

DAI will be epic again. And we will use different builds for all of them. These are my favorite RPG’s. They, for my playing style give me the best world lore, character relationships and balanced combat between real time and pause and click. Also my party member AI is solid.

Baldurs Gate 3 is probably the deepest RPG I have ever played (and it’s simply amazing) but I prefer Dragons Age’s accessibility more so.

Mass Effect and Dragon Age are simply the best for me. And the replay ability is second to none in the genre.

            9/10 game.

People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.

Sad thing is, this amazing game didn't even get nominated for RPG of the Year. Which is a crime. But then again the College Football game didn't get nominated for Sports Game of the Year either.

                    Lol what a joke.

I have played CFB 25 over 400 hours and still going. And Dragon Age 4 will be played at a minimum 60-70 hours.

Go figure that one out lol.

                      Re: Dragon Age: The Veilguard

Still working through this. Gotta say the combat is getting a bit stale now. I’m playing on medium difficulty and have a hard time with some enemy bosses that are just straight bullet sponges.

I find the companions almost useless unless you combo (I might be playing wrong but I feel like I’m pushing for combos maybe more than I should)

I don’t know if my build is terrible or what but just not feeling like my warrior is getting better. Can’t imagine what it is like playing on other levels.

Anyone has any tips please let me know me know! Probably about the halfway mark. Have all the companions recruited.

The companions are mostly useless when you don't use their abilities, that's true. You can also modify the difficulty to tweak the enemy health. Like I did my replay on the higher difficulties but tweaked the enemy health because didn't like the sponge-y nature.

The companions not really feeling useful is a bummer. And one of the reasons I LOVED guardians of the galaxy. They were just fantastic in that game.

If you enjoy this combat style try out GOTG. Basically this game but the combat is incredible.

That is disappointing. Dragon Dogma 2 pawns were awesome. Great in a fight and fun to have.

Yeah in my review I comp'd this game to a mix of Guardians and FF16 but for sure the companions in Guardians are more useful.
