For those of you who have it, how does the analog stick feel? Is the nub big enough to control with ease, or do u find ur thumb constantly slipping?

I feels really good.. takes a while to get used to (because of the placement of the stick)), but there is no slipage at all.

I know you are a big time hockey fanatic.....so I know you have your hopes up for Gretzky. I haven't played enough to give you an honest review. It is tough to play on such a small screen and I have to get used to how the "contoller(PSP acutally) feels. I'll tell you one thing....the first time you gotta go somewhere and either ...travel or wait for someone(at the airport maybe?) you are going to love to be able to play a game here and there.
It's certainly not going to replace your console or PC...but I'm having a blast with it already. I picked up Untold Legends as well. Not a bad little hack and slash RPG.

I don't expect Gretzky to compare to ESPN NHL. I'm just looking for something that's fun to pick up and play. That's good to hear you're enjoying it. It wouldn't bother me in the least if it were quite arcadey. Like I said, I just wanted a handheld hockey game I can have fun with. I've got ESPN NHL for my sim-like franchise fix.

You're going to love it then. It's much more than arcadey....it's actually a pretty good hockey game. Maybe the wrong kind of players were reviewing it...hence the bad press. I just played another game against Calgary. I won 1-0...but I was on Pro level. Time to move up a notch....6 minute periods...shots were 28-21(I had 28).
...and you will get used to the analog stick. I wish there were some sort of finger grips for the back of the PSP though...it's tough to hold on to when the action starts getting intense because it is so thin....no biggie though.

Hmm...I don't travel a ton, but I will when I go to college. I think I may need to pick one of these bad boys up. My only problem is I'm a cheap little HS kid. I've got the money for 3 of them, but I don't kno if I wanna plop down that kinda money right now

Well, I caved, it was just too pretty sitting there. I picked up one. I suck. Anyway, I have 3 dead pixels on my screen, one right in the middle, it's not too distracting and you don't notice it at all when movement is on the screen. I have the warranty on it, and will probably just wait a few months if not longer and see if they come out with an improved version before I take advantage of the replacement.

Picked up Ridge Racer, Twisted Metal, NBA and Lumines. What can I say, I dogged the system a lot, but I'm a sucker for shiney new electronics. All 4 games are very good IMO for the time I gave them last night. Lumines by far was the best of the bunch, just addictive as hell. It'll be a good, fun system to take on trips or doctor's office visits. Glad I picked it up..wife on the other hand...no comment.
