Yes, I loved it. I actually started going through it a second time to see what the other side was like. Didn't last long because of school work and such but I really enjoyed it. I would be open for a new/different experience though if Jade Empire is the better game.

I haven't played either games, but I've kept up with them both through developement and release. Sith Lords sounded basically the same as the first KotoR except it had some more Force Powers, items, et cetera, but the loading screens were more than adequate. Jade Empire sounds like a tight game though, has gotten excellent reviews across the board and internet.

Like I said, I haven't played either of the two games, but I'm sure the other guys will put their spin on the situation.


EDIT: BTW, whenever you have time, complete the game on the Darkside. Its worth it.

I've played both KOTOR2 and Jade Empire. For the first 95% of the game, KOTOR2 is better. Jade Empire is better the last 5%, and by a substantial margin.

You certainly got my interest.....without spoilers, is KOTOR1's ending better than KOTOR2's(I beat the first BTW)? I will be getting one of these games soon(outside chance I might get Fable instead), just trying to decide.

KOTOR 1's ending is much better than KOTOR 2. Jade Empire's ending is on par with KOTOR 1.

I agree, finished playing through Jade as an Open Palm, and I agree with prior comments by TCrouch that this was very similar to Star Wars plots....it was very easy to see what was coming, for me at least. KOTOR 1 had me surprised, Jade didn't do that at all. Still fun, but doesn't have me wanting to run through with a closed fist, I know there's some different stuff, but doesn't seem like it'd be fun enough for me a 2nd time, just more grinding through to see what little story changes there are.

I rented Jade, thought it was a good game. I might rent it again, but I dont know about buying it. The story was good, but the game didn't pull me in. I felt more immersed in KOTOR, maybe it was just due to familiarity.

KOTOR 2 was a really good game but the ending sucked horribly. I hope another is on the way soon.
