You mean the top left? I used GeekTool 3 to do just about everything on my desktop. Lots of commands and stuff that I had to read and copy from other forums to make my own version of things.

Now if you really meant the top right, I just unchecked the "Show the time" setting in System Preferences.

I was browsing the premade Windows 7 themes on Microsoft's website and saw one for tigers. I have no other reason for this other than tigers are cool looking.

This is anotgher snapshot I took from iRacing, I'm the truck in the middle making it 3 wide at Daytona I blurred the edges to make it stand out more.

So now I have a 17.3" screen with a Blu-ray drive and such, and my old Tim Volkert image was just too small to fill even a quarter of the screen. I may go back to it again someday or use another image of him, but right now I'm just fascinated in doing BD screencaps so I took many screencaps of the IMAX shots in The Dark Knight and made a "slideshow" of it that changes every 15 minutes. Here are a few sample shots:

























I have about 50 screencaps total, which is "refreshing".

Here's my latest effort. Earl Monroe done in the styling of a retro 60's or 70's concert poster. Not 100% satisfied with it as of yet and I'll probably change it around and make some edits but for now its my current desktop background.

edit: For those who don't know, One of Earl Monroe's nicknames was "Black Jesus".
