                                Where do a lot of you get your desktop bacgrounds from? I'd like to get something cool but not sure what sites may be safe.

                                                            You mean the top left? I used GeekTool 3 to do just about everything on my desktop. Lots of commands and stuff that I had to read and copy from other forums to make my own version of things.

                                                            Now if you really meant the top right, I just unchecked the "Show the time" setting in System Preferences.
