    Anyone tried Nitrix or NO Xplode?

    Hey guys... I'm looking to put on some muscle, and have researched quite a bit of supplements. I've been using protein shakes, etc... and eating right but want a little bit more in addition. Has anyone used either/both of these products? If so... would you recommend them?

    I can't say that I have used either of these, so my opinion doesnt count for much, but I wouldnt use anything with the word 'Xplode' in the name of the product.

      I have tried both products but before you take my advice take into account that people have different bodies and thus react different to different things.

      I tried the Nitrix and found it did little if anything for me. I would not recommend it based on the price and the recommended dosage of 9 pills a day.

      I have also tried No Xplode. I really like this product, however, its not going to magically put on mass or build muscle. Its basically like an energy drink before you workout. When taking it you will also probably notice a bigger "pump" and more vascularity when you work out. Again this doesn't really do anything from a strength standpoint but as far as a cosmetic thing it is cool to see the difference. I always take it 45 minutes before I work out on an empty stomach. This yields the best results.

      My advice would be to not waste your money on the Nitrix and instead try a bottle of the No Xplode. Make sure you take it on an empty stomach. I would also only take it on Workout days. The bottle says take it every day but there have been studies that have shown people to adapt to it. Therefore after prolonged used it becomes ineffective.

        Thanks... that helps. I've already got some Nitrix, but if the general concensus was that it didn't work, then I was going to sell it... but I'll definately give the Xplode a try. I've heard from 4-5 State Police Officers that it helps... and after around 3-4 weeks, you could tell a difference in them, so I'm hoping that in a few months, I can say the same.

            If you are just starting to lift I wouldn't use anything, you'll get enough results as it is. Personally, I think all that junk is a waste of time and money. Plus it acts somewhat like a gateway towards steroids which is just a mess.

              I take NO-Xplode before I workout. You won't get much a pump..that's all a load of BS. What you WILL get is a virtual rush of energy. It's the best damn thing next to aderol as far as waking you up. Better than 10 cups of coffee and really gets you motivated to lift.

                yep, that is what it will do! I took that stuff and I felt this rush of energy is was insane! But I disagree with Soldier saying taking nothing will help you. I took No2 for awhile and put a lot of muscle on. But I guess everybody bodies do some what different.

                  Thanks AA and Scott... that's what I'm looking for. Something to give me that extra needed energy. I've heard that this stuff really helps get you ready to lift, and stays with you through the workout. I've put on quite a bit of muscle in the past 3 months... but am nowhere near where I want to be.

                  I'll go ahead and give this stuff a try. Do you all take the capsules, or do you do the drinks? If drinks... what flavor's would you all recommend?

                    yeah that is tough! Everybody has different things they like! But I like the grape. But that might just be me. I don't take it anymore. But it does work! But so does hard rock music too lol!

                      Just looking at the label on the Website this No Explode stuff has a ton of B-12 in it 2000%. Since alot of us are deficent in B-12 I would imagine the first couple times you take it, you feel like you could run thru a wall.

                      For those of you guys that take it, how good would you rate the effects of the product a month into taking it? I'm still one of the bad people taking ephedra caffeine and asprin for energy. I really should to find an alternative during the hot summer months.

                        Taking nothing won't help, but at the very start of lifting, the person is going to increase in strength very, very quickly. From a personal standpoint, I always like to see people give themselves credit for it than give credit to a pill. If you go from lifting once a month to 3-5 times a week, you're going to get strong on your own, it's not the pills.

                        That said, don't ever, ever, ever think about putting something in your body if you can't find it at GNC, and even then look at all the ingredients in the product. If you're going to a public gym, you'll meet the steroid users and they will be jacked, but it's not even close to worth it. Trust me man.

                          See that is where I disagree, but it is cool. You need to take something. And for some that is eating well and those that can't always eat five steaks and 10 eggs lol, they need help and that is just what it is help grows the muscle. But I hear what you are saying! That is why I used no2 I put 40 pounds of muscle on in 6 months. My bench went from 210 to 310. And No2 was all about that! Also half the stuff we put in our bodies will have some negative effect. Just like drinking alcohol or smoking. Or even drinking coffee lol!

                            I don't take it anymore, but I would think that can happen. You think your body would get used to it!

                              I only started using supplements after I had been lifting for a while. Even then I only took things that were proven to work such as Creatine.

                              I don't trust a lot of the supplement companys out there. They just want your money. The muscle magazines are bad as well. I think they give a lot of bad information. I don't really like some of the workout routines they have in them. Your workout routine should center around bench press, squats, and deadlifts. Then you can add in the necessary excercises. I wouldn't recommend spending a whole day doing isolation exercises for the biceps. The simple fact is that most of the people in those magazines are on gear. A normal person wouldn't see results from many of those routines. If you asked a college athelete how they worked out I can almost be certain thats is not a 5 day split working out each body part on a different day.

                              If you have a good workout program and you have a good diet you will get good results. Supplements should just "supplement" your diet and routine. Your diet and routine should not "supplement" your supplements.

                              NO Xplode is the only supplement I take other than whey protein, casein protein, creatine, and mult-vitamins. The only reason I use it is because it gives me the energy I need in the morning when i usually lift.

                              I would definately recommend getting some casein protein to take before you goto bed. It takes longer to digest thus your body is getting protein throughout the night when you are sleeping.
