Guys I'm in a dilemma...
I work out from November to March and then June to September (cant lift duing baseball or soccer season for H.S). I started lifting November 2004 and from then I've probably gained around 30 pounds. This year I started to slow down which is natural following such a fast gain.... but this summer I'm stuck because I have to do a lot of intense cardio to get my stamina up for soccer season.... but I need to do that without losing muscle mass and/or strength. Along with this I'm trying to shed some excess fat (at last check 2 months ago.. i was at 16% bf, I'm probably at 14% now) so I've had to lower my calorie intake somewhat which is going to decrease my muscle mass.I take multivitamins daily and 2 scoops of whey after every workout (4 per week). Any suggestions on how I can keep up with the cardio and fat loss while retaining my strength and muscle mass which I've worked hard to build up?
