I'm just optimistic, lol.

Not to kill your optimism, but...my roomie at VT majored in Bio and received a 4.0, and then went to VCU and received his Master's in Forensic Science and received another 4.0

Then, he worked for almost a year at Toys R Us in Richmond while applying to every lab up and down the east coast. He finally hooked on with the VA state police in their Richmond lab.

As for myself, I graduated with a 2.3 in PoliSci (actually skipped class alot to work instead). Scored a minor league baseball internship a week after I graduated, moved onto sales, and now am the #2 guy with an area newspaper (making more than my dear friend in Richmond, although he gets to carry a gun).

My point, GPA doesn't mean ****. Good internships, good contacts, good work ethic (not classroom, actual real world work) is what ultimately matters.

Anyway, enjoy your time in Radford and make sure to pick up a Southwest Times.

Yes! I get to continue not living up to what I can do and keep up with the bare minimum that I had in high school.

Actually, I think that is where I got it from. My high school was horrible, constantly catering to the slower students, yet giving nothing to students that moved ahead. Our AP classes were a joke, and those were supposedly the most challenging. Worst of all, there was no reason to challenge yourself because we were graded on a 100 point scale, with nothing weighted (I graduated HS in 1997), so someone could get an A in a regular class and end up with a better GPA than someone who received an A- in an AP class.

Anyway, I easily slipped through HS with a 3.7 (4.2 weighted) and found that I could do the same in college.

I never bothered to try that while someone was paying me to work, but I doubt it would have the same result.

3 done out of 4 today, leaving that 6pm-9pm class.

It gets better after Monday, although I already have some homework in a couple of my classes.
