wtf wouldn't he be putting her in more danger by sending her to school?

IMO the school district can kiss my ***, as if they know what's best for my sister and me....I'll take the judgement call of my father who took the best care of me for 18 years...and works his tail off providing for this family.

(Sorry for ranting had to get that off my chest)
I hate that schools always want to step in and be the parent. It's unbelievable that the fact that your father has raised children for 18+ years doesn't factor in to knowing what's best for his children. Every school district can kiss my *** too. This is why I hate people.

Wow, what is wrong with your school district? This is right in my wheelhouse of expertise, and I gotta say that the school district has no case in this. If I were your father, I'd consider a lawsuit against the school district myself under a §1983 claim.

To other news, I sold about 112 cases of wine today, so I'm feeling good.

Basically they are saying that my Dad knowingly withheld her from school interfering with her education (because regular attendance at school is required by law), and that we can't prove illness...even though her test results from the hospital should arrive in 3 days.

This is the attendance policy I took right from my sister's student handbook
According to Board Policy #5061: An excused absence shall be defined as: an absence which is supported directly by a physician's note; a religious holiday in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:36-14-16 and N.J.A.C 6:20-1.3(k); an absence due to death in the immediate family supported by a parental note; a required court appearance which is supported by a note from an official of the court. Supporting documentation must be submitted to the school within two weeks of the absence or it will not be valid. All other absences are considered unexcused even if the parent is aware of the absence. Progressive legal steps will be taken if attendance problems continue
Honestly I think they are bluffing just to scare us into sending her back to school, which basically we are being forced to do now, but we'll see hopefully we can go and straighten out the situation tomorrow and prevent it from going to court the last thing we need is legal problems.

I went out with a friend of mine tonight. We might be doing a poker night this weekend as well so that's cool.

Oh and the Raptors lost "sigh".

You should be alright, but your father should probably file a grievance with the school board.

                  Pissed off.

A girl I'm really close with and I were having a nice conversation..actually a very nice conversation...and then suddenly out of no where she flips a lid and gets pissed at me. Didn't respond to an IM, or a text message. I didn't even bother calling her because, well **** her if she's gonna act this childish.

I replayed the entire conversation in my head at least 5 times and there was absolutely nothing I did to deserve the ****in silent treatment. Ruined my night, to be honest, and I don't even know why.

Ah, I know how that goes far too well.

It's annoying but you just get used to it.

Yeah...it's happened before....but never with this one, which makes me believe I may have actually done something wrong...but I KNOW I didn't.

So basically it's a vicious cycle of thinknig I may have done something wrong, than smartening up and knowing I didn't...and then thinking 'well maybe I did'.

                      **** her.

                                I hate insomnia!

I can't sleep. I just watched a long arse movie (it was over 2 hours long) and still not sleepy. Knowing me i'm gonna probably pass out by 7 AM and wake up just before I have to go out to dinner for my father's birthday.
