Thanks again. I just can't seem to find a way to block everything out, and I'm pressing hard as hell because I didn't play last year and I want some solid minutes this year. I don't want to be stuck with "garbage minutes" like every other year, and my performances aren't helping. I know there's practices for that, but in the past the coach wouldn't change his rotation or give anyone more minutes no matter what they did.

Re: What the Hell is on Your Mind Thread
at least you had the 80's... oh wait you have no idea what I'm talking about, there was this guy Larry Bird he was kind of good... but then this other man Isiah Thomas (most underrated player ever) beat his *** and thus ended the Celtics as a basketball team... at least you can remember the Rick Pitino years, that'll be good for yaComment

Re: What the Hell is on Your Mind Thread
Wooooooooooooo!
Played some ball tonight. I got really angry at this one guy... as I was going up for a layup on a fast break, he hammers my arm and leaves about a 8 inch scratch and goes on and says "It was clean" as he takes off down towards the other end.. .everyone just looks at me so I could dispute it... but I didn't... I just got pissed off.
Next time down the floor, the guy drives the lane, and I'm waiting down on the blocks for a monster weakside rejection. I mean, I throw him to the ground using nothing but the ball, lol. Well, he calls a foul, and everyone starts ragging on him saying it was clean, even his own teammates. But I gave him the ball and told him to check it up. 3 possessions later, the guy drives again, and I rotate over to cover him as he's driving, and I just explode up and throw another massive rejection, this time the ball just goes flying. It was nasty.
Anyway... moving forward, 2 games later... we met again... only this time, it was just NASTY. I was already p'ed off... and I received a pass on the right baseline, outside the 3 point line, I crossed my defender, and guess who was waiting down on the block for me? You guessed it... I rose up, over top of the guy as he was a little late getting there, and threw it down all over dude... it was NASTY! I never felt so freakin good in my life playing ball... the dunk rattled in, but just the fact that it was over top of the same guy made it all the more beautiful.
That just made my night. It's the first time that I'd played ina LONG time... now I'm hurting like crazy, lol.Twitter - WTF_OS

Re: What the Hell is on Your Mind Thread
That's why I quit playing basketball. It didn't matter who was the best players, the coach would play "his" guys all the time. I'm not saying that I was any good , but guys that were good weren't getting any time, thus causing them to quit as well. The team suffered badly because of it.NFL: Tennessee Titans

I'm 6'2", 155 lbs... can just get the ball over the rim for a clean dunk, but I have to be on a major fast break in a pickup game.SAN ANTONIO SPURSComment
