    Re: Your first car?

Yeah, my house payment and utilities were around $2200/mo in Lexington, and I never had any money. Then again, i would have if I wouldn't have had a fiancee, but oh well, haha. If I still lived down there, making what I make now, there's no way I could afford the Challenger, or anything else for that matter.

The apartment Im at right now, I'll be staying until I buy something late next year or next spring, so I can save up some more cash. It's not the greatest place in the world, but it will do.

I'm the kind of guy that likes to move around. I'd like to move to So Cal here soon, most preferably San Diego. Then at some point, I may head back to Ohio where my family is from. Rent/Mortgage will be cheaper then

I wish my mortgage was only $2006.

Problem is, I'm only renting. Wish I was paying for a mortgage then I could at least be getting something back. I also just turned 23 so naturally, its a little difficult.

Ah, crap. OSU is blowing a 20 point lead at half to MSU so I gotta go concentrate on the game. Peace fellas.

Well, I test drove a Scion TC today and it looks like my first car will be no more in a couple weeks. The dealership is getting a few more in in the beginning of February, and the sales lady will likely put one aside for me because of all the business my family has done with her in the past 3 months. I'm really looking forward to it because, while I am comfortable with my Focus, it is slowly starting to go downhill. The Scion felt very nice and responsive and I'm going to treat that thing like my baby.

Guy at work just picked up a TC. He factory ordered it with a bunch of add-on. Seems to be a well built car, with a lot of bang for the buck factor.

They are very well built... I drove one around for a few weeks and they were really fun to drive as well. I was actually pondering getting one, and then having the Challenger to fix up when I get it... but decided to rather just get the Challenger and not worry about it.

LOL, You do realize what you just wrote. You want a nicer place, but need to save up for it. Yet you are spending thousands of dollars just because you have it .... LOL

:y4: No, that's not exactly what I said. I don't necessarily care about how nice my place is right now, I'm just saying that it's cheap where I'm at, so I can save some money. I know, I'm confused to what I'm talkign about now, lol.

But I've stopped spending buckloads of money, just because I am getting my car, and have money put aside for a house sometime next year. Recently, I went on a "me" binge, but that's over with. I didn't even re-buy a TV after I sold my larger one. That money is now drawing 4.85% interest in my Orange Account
