Haven't been whipped all my life... I believe I'm a pretty darn good kid, I don't think I've ever been convicted of anything you know.

The groundings can hurt you too, just as much as the whippings can.

I see where you're coming from, but I don't agree. I too was a pretty good kid never really had to be whooped or grounded (my dad tells the same story over and over of the only time he had to whoop me)

but everyone is different. What works for one, might not work for the other. Take brothers, they both might be raised the same exact one might never get into trouble, be a college graduate, while the other might be a trouble maker his whole life and drop out of high school.

The way I'm raising my daughter right now, might not be the exact same way I raise my second child .I think under certain circumstances, that you have to handle children a different way.


Hopefully both of those kids can get on the right path.

It takes a special kid to achieve adult-like things at a young age. Call them a prodigy. Call them advanced. Call them gifted. Or, in this case, call them a lawyer.

This little Buckeye has been charged with 128 felonies at the age of 13! Give this little fella a hand and a LOI for OSU.

My gf's 14 year old cousin is heading down the same path to destruction. This lil dude does some of the most strangest and illogical things, it makes me shake my head. Just a few things he's been caught doing or have been speculated to doing since I've known him.


-took a dump in my buildings hallway for no apparent reason.
-pulled his rod out on the public bus and took a whizz in full fview of the bus driver
-beat up this 7th grader, stripped the boy naked and pee'd on him

has this boy ever seen a toilet?

I was never grounded. Parents didn't believe in it. Never beaten, parents didn't believe in that.

Only punishment was getting soap in my mouth for walking around saying the 'f word' when I was six after watching "White Men Can't Jump."

I really think if you have your parents respect you, treat you well, and all of that...it's the best solution. Screw beating kids, screw grounding, screw all of that.

Honestly, I say wipe these kiddies off the planet. I don't want any of them blowin' my brains out execution-style over 20 bucks in 10 years.

A small update to the child prodigy I know. Yesterday this boy decides to steal someones cloths out of a dryer. Bad thing is, he went right upstairs, put the cloths on shortly after he stole it and the ladys stuff he stole easily identified him while he was briskfully walking out the door with her husbands pants on. What.A.IDIOT. Like I said in my first post, he's a terrible theif. When he was caught, his lie was "my friend just let me borrow these cloths". I watched in laughter as his pops put a metal cane to his azz. Did'nt do much damage though, he licked his wombs and sat in silence watching some tv as he knew the rest of his day would be spent in the crib.

lol I think he meant wounds. The kids at the Hall are not to far from these kids. I have heard some pretty sad stories.
