Child Prodigy?

It takes a special kid to achieve adult-like things at a young age. Call them a prodigy. Call them advanced. Call them gifted. Or, in this case, call them a lawyer.

This little Buckeye has been charged with 128 felonies at the age of 13! Give this little fella a hand and a LOI for OSU.

My gf's 14 year old cousin is heading down the same path to destruction. This lil dude does some of the most strangest and illogical things, it makes me shake my head. Just a few things he's been caught doing or have been speculated to doing since I've known him.


-took a dump in my buildings hallway for no apparent reason.
-pulled his rod out on the public bus and took a whizz in full fview of the bus driver
-dropped a cinderblock from atop of a 15 story building and smashed a car to pieces. Luckily no one was in or around the car.
-threw a brick at a police car
-beat up this 7th grader, stripped the boy naked and pee'd on him
-he often breaks windows at random times
-often pops up with things he's stolen.
-steals from anyone


He gets into so many fights and has been suspended from school so many times. I hate to say but I already know whats gonna happen to him within the next few years. He obviously has some type of mental problem for him to do some of the things he does. He smokes weed, drinks, ciggarettes and god knows what else. His grandma asked me to be a big brother to him but I dont think their is any helping that child. I tried but he's a habitual and horrible thief. I'd be damned if I waste my time on the boy.

That sir, is a natural child prodigy as well.

That kid doesn't need a big brother(he's going to get one of those when he hits the penetentiary:wink: )...he needs to be chained to the radiator.

It just comes from a lack of no discipline. He lives with his father and grandmother. His father doesn't give 2 ****s about him and his grandma is to old to really do anything. I would love to help the boy but he seems to not want any help. A problem child like that is only good for the judicial system.

That's terrible, man. It's one thing to be a bad kid, it's another animal when you've been charged with over 100 felonies. Maybe I'm just being pessismistic, but it seems like this kid is destined for jail, and has not chance at being "rehabilitated". I just don't understand how you can screw up your life when you're still that young. Hell, he can't even drive yet!

9 times out of 10, these kids don't come from stable families.

I noticed in that article there was no mention of his birth parents, only the stepfather. And in Graphics's post, there was only the father mentioned and not the birth mother.

I have first hand experience dealing with these type of kids. A lot of them just go in and out of prison. How can we expect them to rehab when they just go back to the same group of friends/broken households once they get released from jail.

A jail in itself, is not a place for rehab. You're surrounded by people just like yourself (other criminals).

The jail system isn't set up to actually rehab people like it should, it's just there to keep them away from everyone else until they do their time. Really, since jail is so ineffective they should just find another australia and put criminals there. It can't be much worse than it is now.

He needs his @ss whipped, plain and simple. I haven't met a kid yet that has gotten his @ss whipped that turned out bad. Some don't agree with beating kids but the good book tells us not to spare the rod.

I completely agree. This kid and Graphik's gf's cousin both need to get their asses torn up, repeatedly.
