That doesn't come close to explaining killing 32 people. Clearly the guy was disturbed.Green Bay Packers | Milwaukee Brewers | Bradley Braves | Wisconsin Badgers

Re: Shooting at Virginia Tech
I think that's the point. Everyone is laughed at at one point or another. Granted, we have no idea the extent by which he was made fun of or ridiculed. But most, dare I say, normal people rebound from that. It's the ones that cannot handle it, that internalize it, and let it build up without a release that is a cause for concern. Thus the questions arise about upbringing, mental health facilities, falling through the cracks, etc...Comment

Re: Shooting at Virginia Tech
From the sounds of things, there were many people that tried to reach out to him and befriend him, but he chose to live a life of solitude.
He is a grade A loser and should not even be getting the kind of publicity he has been. This is exactly what he wanted. Some of the headlines I've seen almost make it seem as if he's a bit of a victom too. He's not. He's a coward and a peice of s**t.
I heard one of the survivors say that a very petite girl was able to keep him from entering a room by pushing the door closed. Cho tried to overpower her but couldn't. This guy was a weakling in more ways than one.Comment

Re: Shooting at Virginia Tech
YUBA CITY, Calif. - Authorities put all 36 schools in 12 Northern California school districts under lockdown Thursday as police searched for a man who claimed he was planning an armed attack that would “make Virginia Tech look mild.”
Sutter County Undersheriff J. Paul Parker told MSNBC-TV that the man, identified as Jeffery Thomas Carney, 28, telephoned his pastor and family members Wednesday night to say he had an automatic weapon, improvised explosive devices and poison.
Sheriff’s officials said Carney made no specific threat to any particular place. But because of the reference to the massacre of 32 students and professors Monday at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, principals at all 36 of the schools in the county’s 12 school districts shut down their campuses and locked students in for safety, Assistant Superintendent Linda Protine said.

Re: Shooting at Virginia Tech
No video games found in VT shooter's dorm
Video games were one of the first things blamed for the recent shootings at Virginia Tech. Dr. Phil and a certain Floridiot lawyer were two of the loudest voices, while an article in the online version of the Washing Post briefly mentioned Cho was a Counter-Strike player in high school. Not a big deal in our eyes, but to the general public if Cho even looked at a video game, it's case-closed.
After police searched Cho's dorm room, however, it seems he didn't own any video games at all. No murder simulators or gun training programs, not even a copy of Tetris. If video games didn't teach him these skills, where did they come from?! Oh noes!
We've posted our feelings about violent video games. Hopefully this lack of evidence will silence the anti-gaming pundits for a while.Comment

Re: Shooting at Virginia Tech
Nice gesture by Josh Gracin's band members by putting Va. Tech decals on their guitars. The one guitarist went to VT and so did/does a lot of his family, so it hit close to the band. They also did a nice little song for the victims, which they just learned yesterday while performing in VirginiaComment

Re: Shooting at Virginia Tech
I feel bad for the guy honestly, not his actions but that he never got help.
He looks like he used movies to show his pictures, when i was working out they showed pictures from movies with a guy holding a hammer and him doing it and the guns is from the movie and another.
As tragic as it was, its pretty impressive in a sadistic way he could plan to do something video tape it and then pull it off. He will be in hell hanging out with hitler and random other killers.Comment

Sadly these kids who kill are all bullied and picked on. I hate seeing ANY kid get bullied and picked on. Kid can be pretty mean without knowing the damage they are causing. Of course this combined with the mental issues he had was a time bomb.My Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx
