It is absolutely sickening that NBC released this video 2 DAYS after the shooting while people are still in the hospital. Anything for ratings and money. What a sick country we live in.

I know.

Another thing that irks me about all this is how the news media NEVER takes any of the blame when doctors try to find some whack reasoning in the killer's motives...it's all video games, music, movies, etc.

By releasing this footage, just like they did with Columbine and Daniel Pearl for example, they've given every nutjob with a TV that was thinking of doing the same a reason to now. They've given them a martyr, someone to look up to, a goal or a target if you will even.

It's just plain ridiculous.

Reading the bios of the victims is distressing

Black, white, Christian, Jewish, Muslim, foreigner, American... all dead.

For some reason, this tragedy hit home a lot harder than anything in recent years. One thing that warms me up in these down times is how people of all backgrounds have come together. I occasionally doubt the inherent goodness of people once in a while but when people come together like this it really helps to remove those doubts.

From what i've heard and read, he voluntarily admitted himself to psyche ward wanting help. Since he voluntarily did so and wasnt forced to do so, it doesnt go on his record. So, when he goes to purchase a gun, he has no record of depression, or anything else that would prohibit the gun shop from selling him a gun. Personally, I think that is messed up. Either way, it should send up a red flag.

I agree. I cant even read the victims bios without getting choked up. This is just awful.

I know our relations with the Koreans is bitter and sweet, but this shooting has nothing to do with that. There are more immigrants of Korean decsent, than Chinese, and Indian combined I believe (in this country).

Anybody who retaliates against korean or other asian people(since for whatever reason a of people think all asians are the same) are pathetic and I hope nothing happens like what muslims had to go through after 9/11.

These are the same people that have protested Matthew Shepard's funeral, the Columbine convocation, etc.

Yeah it was posted already and like I said before, I hope they get jumped the moment they try to interrupt one of the funerals. They tried to protest a funeral that a group of Hell's Angels were at and they got run off of the property.
