If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Native American Mascots/Names
Redskins is offensive. No different than having a team named the Negroes.
From Wikipedia
“Back not so long ago, when there was a bounty on the heads of the Indian people... the trappers would bring in Indian scalps along with the other skins that they had managed to trap or shoot,” says Holder, whose arguments were included in a recent court filing in support of Harjo's claim. “Trappers and hunters began using the term ‘redskin’ ...they would tell the owner that they had bearskin, deerskins...and ‘redskins.’ The term came from the bloody mess that one saw when looking at the scalp ...thus the term ‘red’...skin... So, you see when we see or hear that term...we don't see a football team... we don't see a game being played...we don't see any ‘honor’...we see the bloody pieces of scalps that were hacked off of our men, women and even our children... we hear the screams as our people were killed...and ‘skinned’ just like animals. So, yes, ...you can safely say that the term is considered extremely offensive.”My Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx

Well I'm not gay so I guess f***** is alright as well.
I'm not hispanic so I guess sp*** or b***** is okay.
Many Native Americans have published articles in scholarly journals, written books, protested, etc. Obviously there is something there.Comment

With you guys talking about Redskins...
I read this today. Did you know that in 2005 California State Legislature passed a bill banning the use of the term "Redskins" as a public school nickname but the bill was VETOED because Schwarzenegger thought it was a "trivial issue."Comment

Jesus Christ some of you guys haven't got a clue. It's quite disturbing actually, since I love reading most of your posts on other topics.. didn't even think the same posters could be so blind.
Rams? WTF are you talking about man? If we're not Native American, we can't be offended? That's one of the most idiotic things I've ever read on here.Comment

What do you expect from the Arnold. With you guys talking about Redskins...

The Redskins name is probably the only thing I see wrong with Native American names used in sports. No way should Washington still be able to use that name.
But things like the Cleveland Indians, Atlanta Braves, FSU Seminoles, Illinois Fighting Illini, etc.. is fine with me. They don't really scream "offensive or shameful" like Washington Redskins does.Comment

Re: Native American Mascots/Names
Like Jerry Seinfeld said...
If someone calls me (insert derogatory Armenian term here), I'm not going to go crazy. Why should I? Who cares what people think or say?"You know, I don't get it. Not allowed to ask a Chinese person where the Chinese restaurant is! I mean, aren't we all getting a little too sensitive? I mean, someone asks me which way's Israel, I don't fly off the handle."Comment

Exactly.
You live one life. Why live it constantly worrying and fussing about what other people say?Comment
