Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Lane splitting is actually legal in California and fault would be determined by other factors, speed, safe lane change, etc. Every where else it's not and I'd imagine the motorcyclist is at fault pretty much always.Oakland Athletics San Jose Sharks

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I would think so. But the way the guy driving the car could be at fault is if the guy in car didn't check his blind spots before changing lanes. Both my parents are in the insurance business, I will ask them later about it.Comment

Summer time colds. Shouldn't be suffering from a sore throat and a runny nose.Comment

My 8:15 flight being cancelled and them not being able to get me on another until 3:40. Been a long day.
And whoever picked the weekend I was here to not run the BART between San Francisco and Oakland.Last edited by Tovarich; 08-03-2015, 05:08 PM.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
The motorcycle people that drive between lanes in traffic make me nuts! I always knew someone would get clipped doing it and I finally witnissed it recently. I guy passed by me and a few cars up a car changed lanes and did not see the motorcycle and got wrecked. Luckily it all happened at a slow speed, the guy on the bike had some serious road rash on his arm. I don't wish bad things on people but I hope he learned a serious lesson!

Yeah I see it all the time here. So far everyone I've seen (both car and bike) are always smart about it.badComment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Wake up today, and starting to feel like I could be getting a sore throat real soon if I don't take those sore throat things asap to kill it before it gets bad.
All kinds of sicknesses suck, but sore throats especially suck too cause of the fact that if you got runny nose/fever/headache or something, you can still do stuff. Sore throat, it makes even just eating and drinking stuff a pain too. And even painful if you got spit in your mouth or something, just swallowing that hurts.Comment

A boss who never does what he says.
Our pay period runs Thursday-Wednesday. I've been working Wednesday-Sunday. With a vacation coming up, I asked if I could work six days in a row so that I could have 9 days off in a row when I take vacation. He's like, sure I can make that work.
Come in today, and now I'm off Thursday and Friday, and then work Saturday-Wednesday. Which means now I'll only get 7 days off in a row for my vacation.
Thanks for nothing.Comment

When people take the elevator to go to the 2nd floor when the stairs is right there and they are perfectly healthy. So lazy

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
lol, I used to see people do that all the time. There was a building that was only 3 stories high, and there were almost always lineups to use the elevator. I just walked past all of them, took the stairs, and reached the 3rd floor before most of them even got in the elevator.Comment
