Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Well just as I like to vary my clothes up, I also like to with my hats, and I like wearing hats. I'd be sick of wearing my Giants hat only day in and day out.
But yeah, if I own a dark green shirt, I'm not automatically going to the store and trying to find an Eagles hat... though to be honest, I likely wouldn't wear a hat with such a shirt.
(also to be honest, I likely wouldn't own such a shirt lol)
(by the way I added another pic beside the one you saw, and I'll edit that original one in)
I have like 7 or 8 different Brewers hats, 3 or 4 Packers ones, etc. but you'll never catch me wearing a Bears, Broncos, Seahawks, Cubs, etc. hat because they aren't my team. I'd have zero reason to own one. Matching isn't that important, and if it is there are off-color hats just for that (though when I buy a hat, it's because I like the way it looks. Not because it matches or it's "proper colors.")badComment

Giambi leaving Oakland still hurts lol. The Giambi era in Oakland was my first sports love. Still the most fun I've had following a sports team.Comment

Don't know if it helps for me to re-state how it works for me.
Your interpretation: "I buy a hat just to match a shirt or pair of shoes."
My reality: "If I own a hat, it's because I have a shirt or pair of shoes to match it with."
Thankfully one of the Giants' colors is black, so doing white or black makes this really easy for me.
I'm sure if I keep searching through my computer I can continue to find more pics like these. I just think it looks better and not out of place.
On the flip-side, I know of people who began to like or dislike teams because of their colors. Therefore if they are a Mariners fan and then happen to own their hat, you might not even know that the only reason they were attracted to them in the first place was that blue & teal combo.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Comcast calls a few days ago, says they doing a "Neighborhood Sweep" or something like that to see if any of the wires need replaced, signal strength is good, any interference, etc.
Guy finally gets to my house, shows me the graph on his tablet and goes "we're getting a lot of interference/issues from this address". Has to put in a new wire house to pole, then replace a wire running from wall to modem. Thankfully no charge, but it would have been great for the installers to tell us this when we moved in here in March/April.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Or last week, I had another dumb **** not yield going left through a green light. ******* wound up getting through the next light that takes forever to turn and I missed it because they chose to be a douche and turn in front of me when I had a green light. It's an epidemic in Iowa. At least once a week, someone making a left assumes they can turn because I can't possibly be going into the lane they are going into.Comment

People who put "serious inquires only" on a for sale post. It's not going to stop someone who is just fishing for information, or not serious about buying.Comment

I can't stand it when people talk forever.
What's worse is when they don't get my hints that I want to get off the phone or go somewhere else.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Dealing with unprofessional/shady people. It's just pathetic how certain people can get away with going through life acting like that. I'm generally a nice,relaxed/easy going person, and people who know me well would agree completely, but certain types of people just get on my nerves so much,or sometimes I just unintentionally anger them.
If they were in any other environment, dealing with anyone else, they'd get what they had coming to them. Act like that in diff work environment, you'd be fired on day 1.
People do exact opposite to me lol. They always think I'm uninterested or something when on the phone. That's just how I talk on the phone for some reason. My "phone voice" and "regular voice" sound much diff. That's why I just like texting people or talking in person, cause over phone, I communicate horribly.Comment
