It didn't have any actual words, but just a voice doing sounds.

I think it was for a network commercial for some show.

        Car batteries grind my gears.

We have a 6-7 hour road trip planned today and I get all of our stuff loaded up. Then load up the four dogs to bring to the sitters and when I push the button nothing happens. Battery is dead. No big deal I'll take the Jeep to get a battery. I keep the Jeep's battery plugged into a tender because we don't drive it that much. I take the tender off get in a turn the key and nothing. The damn battery died even on a tender.

Now here we are on a Monday with all of our friends and family at work and no way to get to the store. So I make an Uber account and they bring me to the store. I go in get the battery and go back out, then guess ****ing what? That damn Uber drivers battery died. You can't make this stuff up. She goes in and gets someone to jump start her car and I get home put my battery on (which was quite the headache in and of itself since I had to remove a bunch of stuff to get to it). Now we can get on the road, right? Wrong. The dog sitter texted and said that she had to take her niece to the doctor so now we are waiting on her. I'm currently about
2 and a half hours behind schedule and out $45 on Uber ride, but I suppose things could have been much worse if this happened on the road somewhere.

I have had unbelievable luck with the battery on my current car. It's STILL on the original, and I bought the vehicle almost 11 years ago new. Now, the engine blew once, but damn, if that battery hasn't been a modern miracle considering I've never had a garage to park it in and the winters we have.

I only had to replace a battery once on the Mustang. It was over 5 years old, and because of the Auto Zone warranty on it, wound up getting a brand new $130 battery for about $45.

Starting a long holiday weekend by having my water heater go bad.

Edit: It's still going bad, but resetting it and turning the breaker back on has temporarily fixed it. So I can take a hot shower tomorrow at least.

Having tickets to a game, going to take someone i know is a long time fan, they say theyll go,but somehow the next day, they just come up with excuse after excuse as to why they suddenly dont want to go.

"The game starts too late. I have work the next day. What if it goes to ot? The traffic might be too heavy. I dont want a seat inbetween other people. The food costs too much."

You're getting free ticket to watch one of your fave teams. Be grateful you even getting the ticket.

Some people.... seriously ill never understand these people.

Those are all legitimate reasons to not attend a sporting event, though.

Its one thing to say that right away, but they said yes already, knowing full well all that stuff beforehand. But just decide to change their mind afterwards.

If people are big fans, most of that shouldn't matter. I mean most of the games are this exact time. Not like its the one game ever thats so late. 730 is normal start

And its free tickets. Not like they're spending $50+ to go and just want to spend it on some other date cause of those reasons. Free tickets, good seats. All they have to do is show up...

You have to stop worrying so much about so many small things man. Enjoy life.

Find someone else to go to the game, not a big deal.

It's perfectly fine, just have to be a bit more secure in yourself.

So you complain about someone making excuse after excuse for not wanting to go to a game after saying they would. And here you are making excuse after excuse for not wanting to go to a game after saying you would.

I mean if you're such a big fan, it shouldnt matter
