Yeah if the left turner has a green arrow, if you're turning right you must yield because at that time you have a red which means technically you must come to a full and complete stop, then yield to any oncoming traffic.

A problem intersection around here is that there is a RIGHT GREEN ARROW (but a solid red simultaneously) indicating that right turning vehicles have the right of way. Which is true. The problem becomes that the oncoming traffic has a green solid at this same time, but oncoming their way is not going because they're still waiting on the red solid.

It's terribly designed and assumes that people will stay in the left most lane turning left on to the road and the right turning cars will stay in the right. There are multiple businesses in this area including a high traffic Wawa.

Just like doc said recently, the zipper merge is how it's supposed to work. But unfortunately, you add humans to the mix and "how it should work" is thrown out the window. I actually just saw that some states are going to crack down and make sure people zipper merge. Good luck with that!

      Yep.

Near my residence I often have to make a U-turn at a light to get to where I live. When I get the green left arrow I make a U-turn while people who are turning right have a yield sign. I have priority and they should wait. Plenty of people cut me off.

People are terrible drivers. I always assume everyone else on the road has no idea what they're doing.

And then we turn to even more destructive practices as a 'solution'.

Are you sure he's not talking about a peak of tent caterpillars, which has nothing to do with any of this?

I have not lived in New England in just over 4 years, and have not see a tent caterpillar outbreak in quite a long time before that (last one I remember was quite a while back, where as a kid they were like clockwork every year). They seemed to disappear... however, I do know their natural predators, like Hymenoptera egg parasites are on a huge decline due to such factors, as well as frogs, mice, over 60 bird species losing numbers that feed on them, as well as skunks, bats when the moths are fully grown (and much needed for mosquitos, but as we stress the environment, they are now faced with their own face fungus killing them off), etc., etc., etc..

I believe gypsy moth caterpillars are the ones currently eating their way through NE. Could be even worse next year from what I've been told.

Delivery drivers (UPS/FedEx) who either don't even try to use my building's intercom system, don't use it right, or don't wait long enough for my phone to start ringing after paging it (and I thought I had no patience) before giving up and leaving a "Delivery exception notice". Has happened 3 straight times with with packages that required signatures, 2 with UPS and this morning with FedEx. So I took off work to wait for my package for nothing. :

I almost got into an accident during peak rush hour due to someone chasing one and cutting over in front of me in her car, pulled over to the side of the road, and got out with her phone.

Another one walked into the door at Chipotle as someone was opening it to leave (the day it came out), because again, she was staring through her phone, head down. SMH

Some people are just so troubling it is beyond words.

When I tell someone at work that I do not carry something and they continue to explain as if magically I'll have it.

I'll take that. Mine is 50% politics, 40% Pokemon and 10% is one person on vacation who literally checks into every place he goes every other hour.

This grinds my gears. As long as they aren't putting in anyone in danger by getting out of their cars and not paying attention, etc why does it matter what people waste their time with? It's also a bit disingenuous considering you play video games which is the same exact principal.
