They usually come in handy if you have little kids or animals and if you aren't expecting anyone to be in the pool, you'll find out pretty quick when it goes off.

I'm wondering if the disconnecting could be something in the console though. Anyone know of a good wired PS3 controller?

Also, getting coupons for stuff I just bought and thus will expire long before I need those products again. Went to CVS today and bought milk, cashews, mini Reeses peanut butter cups, and a candy bar. Pay for them and get my receipt and it has coupons for cashews and the mine pb cups.
      It's called the DS4.

I have to use my PS4 Controller, even when playing on PS3. It's so much better in every way.

Yeah.. just need the cable to connect it, which isn't much of an inconvenience for me with the current setup I have.

The only downside is you can't use the PS button to return to the home screen or quit out of games, but there are zero issues otherwise.

I use it for RDR and NCAA 14 pretty regularly.

That's awesome, I didn't know that. Do you have to keep it plugged into the cable or can you disconnect once the connection is made?

For some reason the phrase "take a flyer on (insert player here)" really, really annoys me.

Maybe because you're using the wrong word? It's "flier" which means a speculative investment/venture in that context.

I always thought it was flyer too, as in when people are handing out flyers for events or whatever, even if you don't really know what the details are of the event, you "take a flyer." That's always how I made sense of it.

                          Hmmph. The more you know.

The fact that the "advice" in Yahoo Fantasy Baseball isn't actually advice. Yahoo seems to do it just fine for Fantasy Football, so why not baseball? Probably just the daily games makes it harder to do it compared to the weekly breaks and reports they get for football, but they just don't really seem to help. If they called it a different word like "report" or something, I'd have less to gripe about heh.
