All stores in general do this very heavy now. It's corporate policy, stores make their money on accessories and warranties, not the actual product itself. If sales associates don't ask, they get fired. I knew this kid who worked at Staples down the street from me who got fired last week from Easy Tech because he wasn't selling enough Square Trade Warranties per a day.

Which is terrible because he was a nice kid. All stores care about is building that market basket with warranties and accessories.

Funny, I had to go to GameStop today to return a pre-owned PS3 controller I bought exactly 3 weeks ago that started malfunctioning the other night (Pressing L2 was also triggering L1 which got pretty annoying when I was playing NASCAR 15 and L2 is brake while L1 is rear-view). I was worried they were gonna give me a hard time because they said the return policy was 2 weeks, but I just went in, got my money back, and left. The ONLY reason I got pre-owned is because they said they aren't getting new PS3 controllers anymore. The reason I needed a new one was because my old one kept disconnecting despite being fully charged and regardless of whether or not it was plugged in, but strangely enough it seems to have fixed itself while sitting unused on a shelf for 3 weeks.

            They're forced to do it.

When I worked for DirecTV and at Best Buy, we were forced to do these types of things and if we didn't, we'd get in trouble (it cost me the Best Buy job because I told my supervisor how stupid it was and she didn't like whenever people didn't kiss her ***).

A month after I was let go, they got rid of the particular thing because they finally admitted to how unnecessary it was.

I don't mind that they shot the gorilla. I mind that the parent/guardian who was supposed to be watching a little kid couldn't be bothered with the responsibility.

I went Saturday for a backyard project I was working on this weekend to avoid yesterday or today but yep, still ended up back there all three days this weekend.

Guys who feel it necessary to dislike a roster creation for personal reasons.

Normally, IDGAF about the ratings of my MLBTS rosters.

                            Haters gonna hate.

But someone brought something to my attention a few days ago about some strange "disliking" activity on some of my rosters and the O.S.F.M. rosters.

So I had some checking done on my behalf.

                            Wow.
Forget that it's total bush league low class bull**** that a child would resort to.
It's connected to some guys here on O.S.
                            I mostly disappointed...and a little pissed.

But I'll take the high road on this and not take the action that someone suggested.
But damn if I'm not totally taken aback.

I know what you mean, man. I create YouTube lecture and review videos for my math classes, or really for the school (it's advertised through all math classes). Should they find it useful, they may do with it as they please.

And I'm not one to ask people to "rate/comment/subscribe" and such, but I don't want to disable them either so I can allow statistics to speak for themselves. If people want to approve them, go ahead. I don't feel any better or worse when it's liked or viewed, I just want students to know they have that opportunity to watch them.

But then I once got a couple of dislikes, something that was way uncalled for... like a student who had a vendetta against me, or something or another. These students are privileged to have these videos made available for them, and one person can truly ruin it for everybody else if they feel they must go out of their way to actually dislike a video. Every video is about 5-7 hours of accumulated time to prep, record, encode, upload, and annotate, and review videos go near the 7-10 hour range. I am happy to do it for them, and furthermore I am appreciative of them should they choose to view/like/praise it in any sort of way, but something on the other side is just completely uncalled for, no matter the reason.

I'm sorry that happened to you, Knight. You invest so much time into them, and when somebody is simply trying to sabotage your ratings for the sake of whatever personal beef they have against you, they should really own up and not find a way of acting so immature.
