Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I'm in Maine, we only lost ABC so far, if this keeps up I'm considering dropping Direct tv and going with the Playstation Vue.Comment

We got NBC back later in the evening on Sunday but it still sucked losing it New Years Day. Still don't have ABC which isn't a huge loss for us.Comment

ESPN
I miss the days I could turn my TV on in the morning and get a full hour of nothing but highlights and scores of every sport.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

You ain't lying.
I recently started working from home more and ESPN is basically just people yelling at each other all day. And it's the same 5 topics recycled across the shows.NFL - Vikings

This applies to pretty much all 24-hour stations, whether its news, sports, or whatever. If my tin foil hat was just a bit tighter I would think that it was an indoctrination technique.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Yep. The other day one of my cousins shared a cartoon thing on Facebook that was basically a diagram of what some of those channels (Discovery, Animal Planet, NatGeo, History) were supposed to show and what they actually showed. And then there's SyFy semmingly always showing the same movies over and over again, many of which I wouldn't even consider science fiction. I haven't checked to see if they still do, but for a while they even had wrestling on Friday nights, well at least they had the "fiction" part right thereSteelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII

Yep. Sometimes I'll leave ATH/PTI on as background noise while making dinner, but it's so much easier to just check out scores/read the info instead of dealing with the BS.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I streamed all the bowl games and had to listen to the commercial for First Take a couple hundred times. I have no idea what kind of person watches that show. I try not to judge people for there taste but that commercial pushed me over the edge. I started muting the TV during commercial breaks just to keep my sanity and faith in humanity.PSN: OldStyle24Comment
