So it should be called Once a day then? I have a weird fascination with product labels.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
People who are car #2 at a red light and sit there waiting for a green with their hand hovering over the horn. Then if you don't get off the line in a time that rivals a professional drag racer they beep the horn.
I drive a bit for my job and witness this a couple times a day.
I just view them as pathetic humans who are probably miserable in their lives."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
On the note of people waiting in a car for something to happen just to be annoying....
One I hate is when people might be in their car, most of the time they're parked up with their engine off. They're just sitting there either on their phone or talking to someone in the car or something like that. But the second you walk anywhere in their path, it's like the car engine goes on and they step on the gas, all in like a 3 second span. They had no intention of leaving, but it's like the second you're in the path of their car, suddenly it starts up and they're off driving.Last edited by Majingir; 03-17-2017, 04:24 PM.Comment

You only do it one time per day so one a day still works.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
One denotes a single item. Once denotes a singular time. Since the "one" refers to the vitamin it's still technically wrong.

One of the many reasons why I don't understand why gummy vitamins are so popular with adults. You get less and you pay more. For the vast majority of people, swallowing a traditional vitamin pill shouldn't be considered THAT much of chore.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I don't know how this came into my head about the "one" versus "once" debate, but I never understood the Apple Jacks commercials where the parent would say...
"Why do you guys eat Apple Jacks? They don't taste like apple."
... as if to insinuate that we only eat things that either taste like apple or taste like the name of the product. It's like if somebody questioned why I had a guinea pig for a pet because it doesn't oink like a pig.
In fact, I would despise my cereal tasting like apple. I don't much love Apple Jacks either way, though. I know, I know... that was probably the point of marketing it that way, so kids would consider eating it if they knew that. I just don't get the parents' point of stating what they do.
And no, I'm not overthinking this. I'm actually afraid I'm underthinking it, because I personally think it's poor scriptwriting.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
