About the plows...there's a reason that you have to get approval from the post office and/or city to install a mail box. They know of the right-of-way allowance and no person's box should get damaged by the plow.

It also grinds my gears when the plow decides to completely knock over my mailbox repeatedly and refuses to fix the damage they've caused. (Layoffs were announced at work this week, and I mean a MASSIVE amount of layoffs. As my work tends to try and make themselves look "diverse" by hiring and promoting women and foreign born individuals over American Males, my job security is very meager right now. With my health degrading due to 30 years of Type I Diabetes, the added stress of not knowing if I'll have a job tomorrow is just not what I need. The winter weather is also causing problems with my house that will probably be financially devastating as well. I'm just a wreck right now and have a long day of travel ahead of me tomorrow. I need to fly to Orlando for a work meeting, and the scary thing is I don't know if when I get back if I'll have a job.)
